Sisters' Sludge Coffee Cafe and Wine Bar

Great neighborhood place to grab a sip and snacks, and dog friendly! Also has a coffee shop. Really enjoyed my visit here. Lots of great wines to try and they do flights.

I love this little spot. I wanted a chai latte and it was across the street from a work meeting. Off-street parking, cute and comfy, great service. Definitely will go back. I had a lemon poppy seed muffin which was okay. My colleague had the carrot cake and loved it!

This place has two of my favorite things, coffee and craft beer, on top of that she's cozy. I feel like most places will have your standard Guinness and coors light, but they had several local breweries on tap. The coffee was good, my usual gripe with a lot of coffee shops is that their drinks can be too sweet, but here that wasn't the case. The coffee was just right.

A real nice cafe, very accommodating and with a great offering of home-brewed blends for coffees and lattes and such. Can't speak to the wine bar part of it but it's probably similar: a nice hangout in the Nokomis neighborhood. The dark mocha was nice to me, not as sweet as a usual mocha.

I ended up at Sisters' Sludge on a Saturday evening around 6ish with a few friends. It wasn't too busy and we were able to claim the two sofas by the faux fireplace on the bar side. It was a comfy spot! The woman pouring wine was funny and made light jokes, which I enjoyed! Sisters Sludge has a nice selection of wines and me and my companions all enjoyed the wines we chose.I didn't check out the coffee side but will definitely come back to try that out!

Nice place to chill outside, people watch! Sadly the options of what we wanted were limited due to their machine being down. I'll be back to try em this fall after our next tattoo appt!

Airy, comfy space with good espresso drinks and better-than-adequate beer and wine offerings. Super friendly staff. Great neighborhood.

Amazing ambiance and loved the wine selection. The barman was super friendly! Will be back. Cute place. Can't wait to see some drag shows there. The only thing I wish is that there were more food choices and N/A drink options after 7. But we did enjoy the cheese and crackers.

This place is charming and approachable. I met a friend here for coffee this morning and was satisfied. The place is run by 3 sisters, love that! Two of them were working this morning and were cheerful, friendly, and warm. The menu had a lot of creative drinks that sounded delicious and thoughtfully crafted, but to be honest I'm a bit of a plain Jane when it comes to coffee. If you're into unique drinks on the sweet side there are lots of options here for sure! They had food options and pastries but I didn't try any this day. Also it's a wine bar later in the day! Resourceful business!I opted for my classic cold brew with almond milk and it was tasty. The coffee was brewed to perfection and was nice and smooth. Good flavor to it too.They had Covid protocols in place with employees wearing masks and sanitized shared items. Overall felt like a gem of a neighborhood coffee place. Great street parking. On a recent visit, I experienced a delay of about ten minutes for two coffee drinks. During this time, I observed that one of the baristas stepped away from preparing the drinks to assist with other tasks. As a barista myself, I understand that espresso can become bitter if it sits for too long, and unfortunately, the lattes I received were indeed bitter. When I returned to request a remake, I was informed that additional syrup would be added to address the issue, rather than remaking the drinks.Additionally, a few weeks prior, I ordered a hot latte that was served only half full. When I inquired about having it topped off, I was told that the barista had been short on milk during the initial preparation. I believe that customers should not be sent away with incomplete drinks, and I find it concerning that additional charges apply for alternative milks and flavors.Given these experiences, I am disappointed and will be reconsidering my patronage of Sisters' Sludge. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the service and quality of your offerings.
