Sift Bakery

Fabulous Gluten Free bakery and very busy which is always a good sign. We tried the blueberry coffee cake which was super moist and had a hint of cardamom, very Scandinavian. We also had the raspberry bar, also excellent.

My mom brought home an apple pie tonight and it was delicious. The crust is flaky and the pie was topped with a delicious crumble. The pie was not overly sweet and the apples tasted really fresh. I appreciate having gluten free bakery options.

A gluten free for all! Loads of pastries, cakes, donuts and what looked to be savory treats as well. There was a wide variety and everything was clearly marked with allergen information. We ended up going around 10am on a Saturday and there was still a solid selection despite being busy! Minimalist, airy, hipster decor let you know that you what you saw was what you got!

We have been here multiple times and have found new things for our family to try. Customer Service | while very helpful the gentleman at the register most of the time is not warm, doesn't really smile and carries themself with a bit of an attitude that suggests the customer needs to hurry up and move on. Food Allergies | this is a great spot for those with food allergies as it's gluten free and many of their products have other alternative ingredients as well for those allergic to more than just wheat. We have purchased the loaves of bread and fresh made bakery items. They also have a binder with all the ingredients you can check out to verify what you can have. The space is very clean, and there is limited seating inside, but a nice patio seating area as well.

It really is a gluten-free for all. So glad I came across this small bakery in South Minneapolis. There are so many options for gluten-free lovers. My son is gluten, sensitive and almost lost his mind when we walked into the store. They have donuts, monkey bread, custom cakes, breads, puppy chow, and so many more. There is also coffee. The staff were very friendly and willing to show me ingredient list which helped make me feel more comfortable. There is a little small space for eating if you choose to stay inside and enjoy your treats.we went early in the morning so there was also plenty of parking on the street.

On Sundays Sift has gluten free soft pretzels. They are 8.50 which is a little expensive but worth it once and awhile for a pretzel! The pretzel comes with some cheese on the side. I also enjoy their Chex mix and lemon bar. Parking is on the street/neighborhood and usually pretty easy to find. I will come back to try more food and desserts!

Gluten free options especially bakeries are hard to come by. Sift bakery is a one of a kind establishment that really sets themselves apart from the rest. Their baked goods are delicious and don't taste like cardboard. My GF son couldn't get enough of their items.

We had a gluten-free lemon cake with dairy-free cream cheese frosting. Everyone commented that it was a great cake!

Excellent gluten free birthday cake. It was very moist and very tasty. Will buy again.

What a delicious birthday cake! Everyone enjoyed it and only one person eats gluten free. It was pretty too. So glad we found this bakery, we will definitely be back for more.
