Shady Grove

We had a magnificent evening set up by the Shady Grove wait staff to celebrate my good friend WWII B24 Co-Pilots 101st Birthday. We were greeted at the door and they helped my buddy to his seat. Fawned over him in a polite way all evening to ensure he enjoyed his Big Day.We both had their famous French Onion soup, appropriate warmed breads and took advantage of a nice wine list. The birthday boy had lobster with sweet potatoes (must have), while I enjoyed the fresh and tasty Walleye dinner. Being from Washington State, must have Walleye. Well done Shady Grove entire staff, from back in the kitchen & throughout.

The food is fabulous--the onion rings are a must!!hand made and delicious. My husband had beef stroganoff and the noodles were HANDMADE there. Amazing. I had the lobster--perfect. They accommodated us because our friend who is 100 years old had to have help getting ready. They were so kind and helpful. We have been many times and will return many times more!

Greeted by our server, Abby, very pleasant! The food was 5 star and service the same!! Ambience is so quaint and beautiful!!

Sadly, we mentioned our experience to some friends and acquaintances over the weekend. We are not the only ones who LOVED the food/atmosphere m/menu but noticed the unprofessional manner of the female owner. I would hate to think her actions can negatively impact the business that much, but I guess her actions are not easily forgotten. I hope for the sake of this cute little place with amazing chef(s) they can pull through with maybe move the opera singer off site or at least get her sober going forward,,

First time visiting inside dining since reopened from COVID. All waitresses were wearing masks, but shocked that one waitress went over had her mask off admiring a baby up close hovering over parents. I think this would have been a time to keep their mask onHad the salmon with salad and wild rice medley with cranberries. Food was good Decided to have an after dinner grasshopper drink. Very disappointed in that. We have had these there before and we're delish, but this one was made with ice not ice cream. There was large chunks of ice in it. Who makes a grasshopper with ice? It was like ice milk with mint and charged 7.50 for it!!Told the waitress she just said she informed the bartender that is not how we make them. ?? Let's just say we could have did better going to DQ for a mint blizzard and would have cost less

One of our favorite supper, clubs in Wisconsin. Super cozy, quaint atmosphere, and the best service and food would expect.

So disappointed in the food. Prime rib was horrible. Burnt taste and very dry. I always order med well at another supper club in Miesville. When I mentioned it to waitress and she said you ordered it well done. For the price we paid it was not worth it. A little cup of soup and a couple tablespoons of sweet potato and one bun. The other relatives had same problem. Our bill came to over $100 for my husband and I. On top of the horrible meal we were asked to leave because they had another party coming in. We definitely got the drift when owner took the napkins off our laps.

Best service I have ever had! Super friendly and totally on top of every detail. We had a table of 6 and every course came out perfectly at the same time and all meals were hot and delicious!! Would highly recommend. Hidden Jem.

Celebrated my father-in-law's birthday at Shady Grove last month because we were so impressed by our anniversary dinner the year before. The table was adorned with birthday decorations and the service was incredible, as always. Our meals were outstanding and my FIL still raves about his prime rib and the chocolate tart. Thank you, Bridget and Shane, and the whole staff for making this another memorable evening! We'll be back.
