Close to Kings Restaurant (same strip mall with 1 business in between) with a large parking lot. Variety of food & sundries that you can't find at your chain supermarkets.Lots of frozen items, including different brands. On my visit there were not a lot of fresh green produce, but this reporting for today only.Good service, friendly storekeeper.

Great place to get korean groceries. They also have Japanese and Vietnamese sauces too. The workers are very nice to you. It is also clean and neat and has a big selection of korean snacks and candies. I recommend this store!

This was my first time visiting since I was preteen. Nothing much has changed. I love that it has staple ingredients and fresh kimchi. I came here looking for a few specific items and was happy to find them, along with other snacks that caught my eye. I will note that it's very clean, well-labeled and the prices are easy to find. The only downfall is that you have to keep an eye on expiration dates; I didn't see anything expired but a few things that would expire in a couple months that I wouldn't be able to finish in time. Now that I'm in this area, I'm looking forward to making more trips here. The nostalgia factor is real!

Was looking for a particular ice cream treat & was recommended by a coworker to check Seoul. The store is small but has a lot to offer. They did not have the treat I wanted but I did look around and found some other snacks & cool items. Besides food, they had kitchen gadgets, souvenirs/trinkets. Only seen 1 staff person, he seemed nice.

Seoul Oriental Foods is located right next to the Korean King's Restaurant in Fridley. It's a nice, decent sized Korean supermarket. There aren't many Korean supermarkets in Minnesota, but this is the one I like going to when I need my Korean fix. The price is decently priced, considering it's in Minnesota. It's hard to price them cheap because the demand isn't as great here and it's expensive getting them transported to Minnesota. They seem to source some of their stuff from Chicago like their selection of frozen Korean meats and kimchi. I usually get my soondooboo supplies here and also korean meats. I recommend looking at expiration dates before purchasing some stuff.

Wonderful selection on authentic Korean and Japanese foods...my mother and I (we're Japanese) make a trip here for items that we can't find at United Noodles.... like dried anchovies ("niboshi") and dried plums ("umeboshi") without msg....while we're here we also pick up other goodies like sliced beef and sashimi, both frozen since they are perishable... love Seoul Foods.. Thank you! Doumo - arigatougozaimasu !... which is Thank you very much in Japanese which the owner, very friendly, always says when we leave the store....Thank you so much! Doumo arigatougozaimasu!

Over and over again I give this store the benefit of the doubt... And over and over again they fail to deliver. Seoul foods is the closest (distance wise) Asian/Korean grocery store around here in Fridley. Please understand that I am also Asian so this has nothing to do with being racist... But these workers are so rude... These workers, who I'm sure are also the owners... Care more about the movie that they are watching then ringing up your purchase correctly. Granted I understand that they don't speak American-English well... But you don't need to give me the mad-dog evil eye when I ask a question. The worker charged me the wrong price and when I questioned it... She looks at me like I'm crazy. I even tried to show her the posted price and she ignored me... So I firmly requested a refund... And they tell me to get out of their store. Beware of R.U.D.E. workers... If decent customer service... Or just services in general matter to you when supporting a local mom and pop place like this... Then don't come here.

It's worth the drive up here if you want to cook some korean food, they got a little bit of everything! The best part of the making the trip is you can stop by for a meal at King's next right next door for some really good korean food. They had all the standard box mix sets like curry, mapo tofu, etc. They also have the good rice, lots of ban chan and some frozen meat sliced up korean style. Stock up on your chili and bean paste, grab a tub of garlic and ginger and your ready to cook korean style. They also have lots of noodles and snack foods to get your fix. So glad to find a real korean store here in the twin cities!
