Wow. You people in this area are incredibly fortunate. I used to have a reason to come down to AV and when I did, I would stop by. The menu is different from many moons ago but the freshness is still the same. I had the chicken spring roll and it was amazing. My honey pork Bahn mi, 6", a little more expensive than what I pay in St. Paul, but that isn't that big of a deal. It too was incredibly tasty and fresh. It was close to closing time on Friday (they close at 7:30) so you think you might get something pre rolled. Nope! Everything was made fresh. That's what I loved about this place many moons ago. There is passion and pride behind what is served and all these years later that holds true.

Great neighborhood. Mom and pop place. Convenient and delicious to go go to. Or you can eat there. There's a few tables. Foods are delicious and authentic. Staffs are nice So nice to have a little taste of (close to/almost) home. Every now and then

In Minnesota for two days and had to visit Satay to Go for very authentic Malaysian! When we lived in the twin cities we drove 60 miles round trip just to eat here. Great entries and awesome bakery. Corrine the owner smile is worth the trip by itself! If you haven't eaten chicken Satay venture to Apple Valley to have the authentic version.... As good as the streets of Singapore.

Annoyed that Nasmi Lemak was $15 for rice, and the curry had 4 cubes of chicken and a couple pcs of potato. The flavor was really good but the portion is not ok...We also got the Roti Canai and it was two pcs of Roti bread and a small side cup of watery "curry" for $15...im confused.

It appears the restaurant has changed hands recently. While the Mee Goreng and Nasi Goreng were still quite delicious, some of my other favorite items Corinne used to make are no longer on the menu. The sweet chili shrimp with coconut jasmine rice is gone, as are the freshly baked chicken siew pau. The pork buns and spring rolls have also changed and are not as good as they used to be. I had to teach myself how to make siew pau, I missed them so much - lots of work, so maybe that is why they are gone. :-(

This is 100% a go-to for us. Their food is fantastic, and their baked goods (made fresh daily) are even more amazing. If you get take-out, don't skip grabbing some baked goods on your way out! My favorites, as someone who prefers savory, are their curry pastry and BBQ pork bun. My husband favorites is their custard buns. Love having their authentic southeast Asian food right here in Apple Valley. On their regular menu, I love their hokkein mee and chow fun. My husband's fave is nasi lemak (spice warning, it's hot!). The have milk tea as well! They are a family run business and always so friendly. It's definitely our favorite, I can't believe I haven't reviewed them until now!

I have been coming to Satay 2 Go for a few years now as I live in downtown Apple Valley. The quality of their food and diverse menu has always been exceptionally great. They have new owners now and they have done a great job of continuing their excellence with the quality of deliciousness of their food. In fact they have extended their menu to encompass more Vietnamese dishes like Pho and others to make this restaurant a very unique choice that covers many different Asian cuisine such as Malaysian, Korean, Japanese, Singapore, and Vietnamese cuisine. I have tried many dishes on their menu and I have yet to ever be disappointed. I am a huge Asian cuisine connoisseur as well as an Asian food snob so that says alot! You really can't go wrong. In addition I have been to many different Vietnamese restaurants and they have the best Vietnamese coffee I have ever had and they even have their own brand as well! Do yourself a favor and support their small family business and you will never be disappointed!

This place has truly gone downhill since they changed owners. Not authentic. So sad but true. If you're looking for 'fasian' food (fake Asian) this is it.

Great food and awesome customer service they have a very unique menu, highly recommend to try everything!Very authentic Vietnamese Noodle Soup! I love their broth. For mochi donuts, they use real dried fruits for toppings, and not too sweet as other places.Cause this is to-go restaurant so no bathroom, but they still have a few tables for you to sit. However, I definitely recommend this place! Lovely staffs
