The best sushi in the local area I drive from Stillwater because it's just so good!! Ichiban & case of fire roll Both have a little kick to it with some spice, but the flavor is really good !! Definitely worth the price and the quality and freshness is on point

Review update - still 4 stars!Where does the time go? It's been 4 years since I drove to Hudson and met my friend at Sapporo. Those were pandemic days. My Wisconsin friend and I met once a week to visit all of the restaurants in Hudson! It took one year. At the time, we were irritated that Sapporo was one of only 2 Hudson food places (out of over 50) that refused to let customers indoors. (The other restaurant was Dragon Pearl.) But the food was good. I'm over it now and we gave them another chance. (And this time, we got to see the inside of the building!)First of all, the restaurant itself is very beautiful, modern looking, and clean. The service was good...prompt, polite, and attentive. The prices seem reasonable too and in-line with similar places.Our food was very good. My friend got a stir fry and I ordered 3 styles of tuna based sushi rolls. My rolls were fresh and bursting with flavor.LOW CARBOHYDRATE: It was easy to eat low-carb, keto-style at Sapporo. I simply stuck with my usual tuna sushi rolls. These are fairly low-carb with a minimal amount of rice and a little bit of sea weed wrap. I avoid anything deep fried in gross vegetable seed oils or anything with added sugar. I also avoid large portions of rice and noodles. My blood sugar definitely likes it that way. So I can enjoy my favorite flavors without giant glucose spikes. My favorite spot for great service and incredible food. Whenever my family's in town, we go to Sapporo. The restaurant can be crowded at times, but the dim lights and comfortable seating makes any table feel intimate. I've been a dedicated Angry Dragon roll girl for many years (I love the combination of creamy and crunchy), but I recently tried the BMW roll and I may need to switch my allegiance. If you've never had eel sauce, I'd say give it a try! It's salty, rather than fishy, and brings a deep umami flavor that makes each bite feel like a savory hug. There's not a single bad item on the menu, and I can guarantee there's something there for everyone.

Best Sushi in Hudson and a great Hibachi Menu as well, great service every time and a comfortable dining room with a full service Bar as well, generous portions never a problem leaving satisfied

Had an excellent experience with take out. Ordering online was a breeze and no credit card required at the time of the order. Food was being packed up right when I arrived so perfect timing! Sushi was excellent, as were the spring rolls and shumai. Had a nice size outdoor patio as well as what appeared to be ample seating inside, Would absolutely eat here again!

Extensive menu, fresh and generous portions, fantastic soup broth, this was a wonderful surprise! Staying at a hotel next door and just popped in for a quick meal, but we needed a doggie bag! Began with spicy miso vegetable soup, salad, vegetable gyoza, then chirashi and a "sexy lady" roll. We also enjoyed some lovely cucumber saki, and stellar service. This low-key seemingly under appreciated restaurant in a strip mall could stand up strong in San Francisco.Thank you for a wonderful meal.

The best sushi in the area!My mother and I have eaten here 3 times in the past 6 months...that's saying something since I live in Sacramento and my mother lives an hour north of this restaurant.We have tried appetizers, nigiri, sushi rolls, and libations and have always been satisfied at the quality, freshness, and taste. The staff are attentive and friendly...and the restaurant and bathrooms are squeaky clean.

My wife and I went here for lunch and it was really good! It was my first time there and I would go back for sure. Amazing food and service!! Highly recommend!

Best Wisconsin sushi I've had to date. Went in on a busy Saturday and service was fast and flawless.

Always fabulous in every respect. Food is outstanding. Great servers. Peaceful, comfortable ambiance. This is one of our favorites.
