Popped into Sambosa on a whim after driving by it for years. The interior is very basic, clean, and large with plenty of seating. There was only one other patron there on a Friday for lunch. The owners/employees were so friendly and welcoming. I ordered takeout of chicken suqaar along with two samosas, one beef and one chicken. I accidentally got the dinner size portion, which a ton of food. Probably two meals' worth. I wish they provided triple the amount of sauce because they were tasty. Next time will need to ask for more!I will for sure be back. I really want to try their tea and chapati bread!

I went to lunch here today with my sister, brother-in-law, and husband. We came for a late lunch today (Friday) at 1pm, and we were the only ones there for most of the time. The food is soo good! We ordered Beef Sambosas, Chicken Suqar, and the Goat. We also had the hot tea. The flavors on everything are really just so good! The tea actually enhances the flavor of the other dishes. We were also given bananas as part of the meal, and my bro-in-law ordered 2 pieces of cake to share (partly because he has a big, sweet tooth, and partly because we were celebrating my birthday). The restaurant has been updated some since my first visit, and it's looking pretty good - it's got a classic vibe. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back soon!

A friend and myself walk into this place on a whim, and are we glad we did. The place was empty but for one customer picking up food and the employee. We had no idea what to order so we just picked the beef suqaar and 5 chicken sambusa. The service was good but there was a mix up with our order that was handle quickly. We thought the suqaar was super tasty and a great portion for two people. The sambusa were good to but fryer oil need to be changed to reduce a mixing of unwanted flavors. Over all this place has tons of seating, good food and a staff that is more than happy to share their food with you. I will be back soon for more, hope to see more people there next time.

So to be honest it doesn't look like much, but the food is good! The Sambosa were very tasty and a fan of mine. The green hot sauce was especially good and man did it get HOT the next day! So good! Definitely worth the adventure. Enjoy!

Took awhile to getting around to trying this place and was not disappointed when we finally did. My wife and I ordered the beef and chicken suqar. Comes with a side salad, a *HEAPING* amount of delicious rice, sauces, and a banana. Took a little while for them to prepare but was well worth the wait. The staff were super friendly as well.

This was my 2nd time trying Somali food, and it definitely set the bar high. This chicken suqaar with rice was some of the best chicken I've ever had! I loved the spices and the rice was so good too. We had to wait a bit for our food because they make every thing fresh, so if you are in a hurry then I'd recommend calling ahead for an order. We ate around 6:30, and they were out of the sambosa's, so hopefully next time we will get to try those. My husband got the beef suqaar, and it looked equally as good as my chicken. The guy working was pleasant, and brought us out some bananas and waters to go as well. Can't wait to go back to try something else!

This restaurant is so amazing! We stumbled upon it when we were driving around in Burnsville. The food was great but what made it so much better was the family that owned the restaurant. They were kind and so welcoming to us. I think they knew it was one of our first times eating Somalian food and helped us pick something great and gave us samples. You can just tell their food is made with such love and family tradition. I live 30 minutes away but I can't wait to go back again. Also they gave us a banana with our meal to help with the spice! So smart! Our food came out to be about $13 and oh my did you get a ton of food for that! This place is definitely worth a try! I'll be going again! All ready dreaming about it!

We have passed this place that our friends recommended numerous times. The other day my boys and I came and had the lamb, steak, chicken meal, and some meat Sambosas. We loved every part of the meal and had a wonderful time getting to know the food through the host. Everything was so delicious.

Food was great! Service was bad, I order on-line, they charged my card, and they did not cooking food until I showed up. Plus they said 20 minute more delay because they needed to cook rice. Very very bad service.

The food was great. The service was a little slow. The kitchen smell was very harsh. It came into the restaurant. I had to leave to go outside and breathe for a little bit to come back and finish my food.
