Ted did such a wonderful job finding a frame for our artwork. We have a big open white wall above the couch in our living room so we knew we couldn't put just anything there, plus it's the first thing you see when you walk in our home! Ted did a beautiful job on the frame and mat border. He had endless amounts of options for frames and borders to choose from so you can find whatever it is your are looking for. Our frame was MN made! Definitely would recommend choosing St. Paul frame ups if you are looking for a professional framing job

I had a fantastic experience at Saint Paul FrameUps. I needed a canvas print stretched and framed and it was a good experience from start to finish. I found it helpful to bring my print in and try out all of the different frame options as Ted was knowledgeable about which options would work best with the depth of the final stretched canvas. Also, I felt safe with the Covid-19 protocols in place at the store. The final product was great! (I'll try to add a picture to this review once I hang it) I'm so glad we have a nice framing store in the neighborhood and I look forward to framing more prints in my home.

What a great local business! I broke the glass on a framed painting and wanted to find a place close to where I lived to take care of it. I chose Saint Paul FrameUps because they were close by and they didn't have any negative reviews - granted, they didn't have ANY reviews. When I arrived, I was immediately worried about the 15 minute parking outside the shop, not wanting to get a parking ticket, but both times I was there (for drop off and pick up), it took 5 minutes or less! The man working behind the counter (the owner, perhaps?) acknowledged me immediately and was very professional. He listened to what I needed, gave me options, answered all of my questions, and wrote up the order, including the 10% discount for checking in via Yelp, effectively and efficiently. He even offered a cheaper option where he would cut the glass and I could put it together myself. Although I didn't take the offer (I would much rather pay for the whole job to be completed correctly), I did appreciate his honesty in trying to help me save money. I also noticed that he had a wide variety of frame options on the walls, much more than I've ever seen at Michaels or any other large corporation store. I almost wished I had something to frame! Over all I was extremely impressed with the work. He estimated the work would take about two weeks, but I received a phone call within 5 days, saying my painting was finished and ready to be picked up. Even though it was only a change in glass, somehow my painting looks even better now than it did before! I will definitely be back here again, and I plan to tell everyone I know about the excellent work!

I first tried to go the cheap rout through Amazon to frame my poster of the 2022 Cycling World Champion Remco Evenepoel and it was a poor decision. The frame was poorly designed, so I returned it. Then I called Ted at FrameUps who's in my neighborhood. The workman like ambiance in his shop and his friendly disposition were very welcoming. Ted's customer service was excellent and he gave me his poster sale deal which meant he through in the glass for the frame for free. I am very pleased with the frame I received. It's excellent quality and it was sealed with material to keep it safe for transportation. I highly recommend Saint Paul FrameUps. I liked it so much, I decided to have Ted frame another poster of the 1951 Tour de France as well.

I have had a number of items framed here over the years; despite not living in St. Paul anymore, I continue to go back to Frame Ups. No complaints!

I needed glass replaced on a shadow box. I received a quick response to an email inquiry. The next day, when I took the item in for the glass, it was quickly discovered that due to the construction of the shadow box, the glass could not simply slide into the existing box. FrameUps quickly and cheerfully helped me solve the problem and took time to dismantle and reassemble the item so my the glass would fit. This was above and beyond my expectations. I have had pieces framed here as well and always receive the same courteous and prompt service.

Ted moved his shop over from Snelling Ave not too long ago, and we're glad he did! He was very helpful in running through lots of frame options to re-frame one of my mom's favorite paintings; he also framed a new print for us, and did a GREAT job cutting down and re-sizing a framed piece we'd had done elsewhere that turned out to be too large. Reasonably priced and very nice work - we'll be back!
