One of my favorite places to sit, decompress and do work. Been a fan of Rustica since it was a small bakery in south Mpls. Parking can get crazy on the weekends as the location is in a busy strip mall. It's totally worth the hassle though! Once inside grab an amazing pastry or cookie from their bakery and a craft coffee or tea from the counter bar. My go to is the chai tea with vanilla and the dark chocolate cookies. I have NEVER had a cookie like this. They are uber rich and decadent. Find a cozy spot near the window and settle in for a treat. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Yummy coffee and baked treats! Had a lavender honey oat milk latte "half sweet" which was perfect! Also enjoyed the large, flaky chocolate croissant. There were a few tables open at 9am on Saturday morning, but absolutely packed by the time we left around 11am. Will be back to try more tasty bakery goodies.

Rustica is nestled between Minneapolis and St. Louis park. I stopped in after another appointment and was not disappointed. I had the breakfast sandwich with egg, avocado, bacon, and aioli, but with the cheese on the side. It was delicious! Bursting with flavor, the avocado was a tad much but the brioche bun was soft, the egg was crisp and the bacon added some saltiness that my body was craving. The server worked with me and my allergies and helped me find an order that was a good one. Thank you to the team I will be coming back!

Found this little spot after my morning walk around the lakes. It was quite busy at 10am. I tried the blueberry lilac latte which had a sprinkle of sugar and what looked like dehydrated berry bits and floral elements on top. Overall though I didn't really taste anything special or different and it was just a really well made latte. Maybe a hint of blue berry but almost too subtle. Still good. But I don't think I'll buy again as it was $6+tax for a 10oz, which is pretty spendy. They do use a lamarzocco machine, which is one of the highest top quality machines for espresso. They also had a ton of nice treats which looked delicious. It was definitely a popular spot as the line backed up behind me and overheard their timing of drinks tick up for 15 minute - the fact that they even know that number tells me they have the operation down to a t. It looks like this is a chain, but this was my first time here. Overall everyone was friendly and timely. It was clean. My only wish was being able to see calorie count on the menu, which was missing.

This is one of my favorite bakeries in the Minneapolis metro. I always grab a pack of their bittersweet chocolate cookies when I'm in town. The location is in a strip mall across the street from a lake that is very nice to walk around in the summer. Parking is a bit challenging during the lunch hours. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and the grilled cheese for lunch. Both were very good. The bread is excellent as always. The breakfast sandwich had plenty of cheese, good quality bacon and avocado. The staff forgot to put in the egg but as soon as I mentioned it, I got my fried egg. My friend loved the grilled cheese. The strawberry tart was tangy and rich with the consistency of a key lime pie.The ambience is of a coffee shop. I saw many people working there while sipping on a cup of coffee. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean. There are also seats outside if you prefer the outside.I ate the cookies on my flight home and just as good as I remembered!

Went to Rustica for the first time and loved it. We got the best seat in the cafe, right next to the window and away from the crowd. The place is spacious anyways so it's not difficult to get a seat even when it's busy. We ordered the Kouign Amann, a seasonal focaccia, and some fall seasonal drinks like their salted maple latte and salted hazelnut mocha. Everything was so good. The focaccia was soft and flavorful and the drinks were the perfect sweetness level for me. It was a perfect spot to catch up with my girlies!

I wanted to like the food because I have heard so much praise but it was just ok. I got the ham and Swiss on baguette; the sandwich was weathered because it has been in the display case all day and the baguette was so crunchy it was hard to eat. Maybe this is more of a breakfast spot than a lunch spot? I also wish the menu was a little more expansive, maybe some more salads and some other non-bread/dough heavy options.

How I've lived near here for nigh on 4 years and never visited, I have no clue. This is an absolute gem. The pastry displays are stunning, the ambiance is cozy, the coffee is strong. I had the baklava tart and was deliciously surprised by the flavors in it, what a beautiful play on a dessert I grew up loving in a Lebanese family. They've got music playing but it's quiet, which is a dream (such a frustrating thing when I'm at a coffee shop to study but the music is so loud I can't focus). The staff were all lovely and kind and helpful. I will gladly be bringing family here when they visit from out of town. My ONLY complaint: the exterior door slams and is rather loud.

Great place to grab coffee after a walk around the lakes. I had the blueberry espresso tonic- the espresso was flavorful and the syrup was not too sweet. Good amount of seating.
