We got there a little before 1:00 pm on a beautiful, fall day so the patio was mostly full. The waitress stopped by a little after we sat down and got our drink and food orders. We were out enjoying our day in Taylor's Falls so were not in a hurry and raving about how nice of a day it was. Our positive attitudes and day were soon to be ruined when it took over 1 hour for our food to arrive and our drinks empty. It was further ruined when we were presented with the most lackluster burgers, ever: 1 single, thin, burnt beef patty with toppings thrown carelessly; stale, cold, bun; a handful of potato chips. The over 1 hr wait time doubled with a burger that makes Wendy's seem Michelin worthy in comparison made for one of the worst experiences I have had eating out. I'm not sure how the owner of this restaurant or the server can continue to operate without any shame to their customer service or food quality. They clearly make their money off of out-of-towners that fall prey to their lack of ethic.

Typical bar and grill on the Saint Croix river. Nothing spectacular. Food was ok. Service was ok. Nothing there compels me to make the drive to come back for more. Ordered a couple of burgers and drinks for a Sunday lunch. Cajun burger was not as flavorful as I would have liked but the western burger was good.Burgers don't come with fries but rather chips so if you want fries have to pay $2 extra, which we did and meh. Had to douse them in salt.Went inside to use the restroom and it looked like it had seen better days, the floor was all sticky and this was at 11 in the morning. Yuck!

We came inside, they had blocked off every other table for safety measures. It stops right there. The waitress was literally in our face taking drink orders, no facemask. I tossed on my face mask to give her a sign. She came back to take our food orders, still closer than ever. We decided to sit outside as it was pretty cramped inside. None of the waitresses or staff wore facemasks, no sanitizing sprays/wipes in sight. The staff didn't wear gloves while Handling food. Don't think they even have them inside the "outdoor grill/kitchen". We ask for a straw and this guy brings out a unwrapped straw, no gloves, and puts it in my glass. ***Found a surprise in our cheese curds. Someone's hair. Had the staff take it back. Would not eat here again or recommend to anyone.

Under the trees on a summer day, with good (pub)food and brews-what could be better? They are fancier places here downtown, but outdoor seating under the trees and spread out, just seems healthier in the long run.The Pig Wings were perfect-succulent and smoky flavored-with an amazingly great bbq sauce. The deep-fried fish was non-greasy and a huge portion.

Definitely a nice patio for Taylor Falls area, waitress was great, they have ample serving sizes but the food was average. Unfortunately, the burger patties and buns were a bit dry. I would not rule this place out and I, personally, will be back for another try.

Food nope on the burger. I am pretty sure it is a frozen patty that came in a huge box a step above Fast Food but just one step. Over cooked, no juice dry as a bone and betting the bacon was reheated (bacon also extremely salty) do not recommend as we ate 4 hours ago and pretty sure that burger is cemented to my stomach lining. The Goat Saloon next door is sooo much better. We just thought we would give this place a try as it smelled good when we passed it on the bike and such a nice day to sit outside. The smell was better than our burgers. The only thing dryer than this burger is burnt toast or the turkey served in the National Lampoons Christmas Vacation movie... Not sure the waitress wanted to be there and never checked in us and we had to flag her for our check. It was nice to sit ouside though

Stellar vibes. Great outdoor seating, quality food. Feels like a lobby in a chill video game, good place to figure out the next move for the night or to make Romaynes the prime destination. "The cook did a good job", says my brother. Bathroom is available but under construction.

I came here with my entire family and I have never been more disturbed with the quality of food and the amount we had to pay for it. We waited an hour for the food to come out and it was cold the fish was brown and rotten the burgers were almost inedible. it was somehow almost full and only 2 people ran the restaurant. I would highly recommend skipping over this place and going somewhere else no matter how hungry you are.

Romaynes. Hands down best place to eat in a 30 mile radius. Portions are huge. Food is amazing. Braught Boat. Piggy wings. Fish fry do not order all you can eat unless you can eat about 5lbs of fish. Dave also carries the malted vinegar for the real fish eating connoiseur. Dave marinates the meats to perfection. Hamburgers are amazing. Everything in this restaurant is amazing. Well it's also a bar. So you can wash down this amazing food with an adult beverage. Good luck not leaving with a doggy bag. Service is top shelf. Ambiance is a bar and grill with outdoor seating on a hill overlooking Taylor's Falls and the Saint Croix river and trails. In the summer dave has outdoor cook houses that he also uses. If you're on a Harley with friends and family this is a don't miss on a ride any day of the week. If your hiking or out with family. This is a don't miss. On your way to wild mountain stop and say hi to dave and the girls. I moved here in 2018 found this place and try to stop in once a month year around.

place is a rip off. burgers were so well done basically burnt.$7.00 for a side of onion rings when a basket is $9.00. which is what we tried to order but our oh so helpful waitress thought she'd make a better suggestion to just skip the chips and get them with our burgers on the side. menu said $4.00 for a side. our waitress sucked. spilled my bloody on my leg. no help with a napkin. go up the street to the drive in place. less annoying than this lame place.
