Good location, easy to find, easy to park, Went there right before dinner time so was not as busy. Servers were friendly and foods came out quickly. The foods were gooood! Will definitely go back and try other dishes.

Since this location is pretty far out, I'd say it's okay overall.First off, I love supporting the community, but unfortunately, this place didn't quite hit the spot like I had hoped. I saw a video that made it look amazing, but I think the experiences was not there. I went with my two older sisters and younger brother.Service: It was just alright. We waited a long time for our food, and my sister's Hmong brisket was the last to come out--and it was still cold.Food:Hmong Brisket: Super dry and didn't really have a distinct Hmong flavor, aside from the cilantro and green onion on top. Was that supposed to be the pepper or just greens for garnish? The papaya that came with it was refreshing and prepared Thai-style, which was a nice touch.Rocky Fried Rice: Came with pineapple, which added sweetness. While I personally don't like sweet flavors in my savory dishes, the rice itself was still good without eating the pineapple.Beef Laab: Tasted good, but the rice was really soft--almost like reheated, old rice from the bottom of the rice cooker. It was okay but could have been better. My Platter (Pork, Short Ribs, and Shrimp): The entire plate seemed burnt. The pork and short ribs were both dry and overcooked, and the shrimp was tiny. The egg was good and runny, though, and the crab cream cheese was basic but decent.Overall, I really wanted to love this place, but the food and service just didn't meet my expectations. Maybe it was just an off day, but I left feeling underwhelmed.

i don't often leave reviews but i placed an order for pickup at Rocky's. Just felt like trying something new tonight. I arrived earlier than expected and figured id have to wait a minute, was greeted promptly as soon as i walked in. Gave him the name for pickup and it was ready to go on the counter, he double checked the order and placed it in a bag and handed it off to me. As i was leaving the gentleman said "see you next time". At the price point i wasn't exactly convinced there would be a next time but i thanked him and was on my way.Everything smelled good on the ride home. For me it was all of the little things. the actual red peppers in the General Tso chicken. The fact that it wasn't the same chicken as most Chinese-American restaurants use. The Generous portions of Shrimp in the Shrimp Fried Rice. It was 2 dollars extra for shrimp as opposed to chicken or pork, which is to be expected, but not only was there a lot of shrimp it was also good shrimp. Quality-wise everything was well above expectations, i am very pleasantly surprised to see a restaurant with a Chef that puts such care into the ingredients they use. The gentleman was absolutely correct. You will be seeing me next time.

This restaurant is somewhat tucked behind the gas station off Radison Road. They specialize in smoked meat with an Asian seasoning. I met up with a friend who's been waiting to try this place. Food is flavorful and they have a wide range of meat platters, noodle entrees, stir fry, and appetizers. Restaurant was busy when we arrived, the waiter apologize for having to wait due to short staff. He was nice and accommodating. We tried the steak and pork belly. It comes with rice and spicy dipping sauce. It was pretty good. Will have to come back and try the other dishes.

Great food & service. The only issue is the location. It's not that it's in a bad area of town. It's just this spot should be downtown Mpls part of the city's nightlife or Mpls Uptown Area. It would be a great addition especially setup as either a trendy karaoke bar or a gamers lounge. Overall it's a great place to go & if you're a foodie & love to travel. You gotta add this spot to your itinerary.

Really enjoyed the food overall, I wanted more from their bbq but everything else we had was amazing. Kinda a far drive but worth it if you are in the area. I really liked the experience overall, very friendly staff and can accommodate larger groups.

The Good * General Tao's chicken: Large, flavorful pieces with a lighter fry. 3.5 / 5The Not-So-Good: * Missing items from the order. * Papaya salad: Significantly spicier than requested and served with small unusable cabbage slices. 3.25 / 5 * Chicken pad see ew: a little drier than expected, possibly overcooked, and a small portion for the price. 2.75/5They have made some significant improvements with the bubble tea. It is pretty decent now.4/5Overall:A mixed experience. Some dishes were delicious, but there were inconsistencies with spice level, portion size, and missing items. 3/5

Great food, great service, but this is twice now that we couldn't get Pho. They run out of noodles! They have fantastic pho, but apparently it's a thing to run out of noodles! We had to get something else after driving 45 minutes with 6 kids and 4 adults specifically in the mood for pho. The food is still great, but no pho was had.Be aware that food service is really slow. We had 11 people and each person got their food separately, so some folks were done eating when others were just getting their food. That makes it really hard for the kids, when their food comes a full 15 minutes after their parent's food. We had papaya salad, but it was meh. The crab rangoons were yummy. We also had the bbq sampler plate, which was good but nothing to write home about, and the chicken red curry was also good, but not spectacular. I would probably not come back again, since we have driven here twice for pho and both times didn't get any. We even CALLED first. Too bad for us it takes 45 minutes to get here.

Ok, WOW!! New favorite restaurant!!! I'm blown away by my experience at Rocky's Asian Bistro. The indoor atmosphere is wonderfully inviting & cozy, while the outdoor patio is beautifully decorated with bright, colorful flowers. Their menu is HUGE and has so many dishes to choose from. I tried the slushy piña colada bubble tea (which is to die for!!), followed by the amazingly fresh & delicious pork spring rolls. Then I split the shrimp Pad Thai and the fried rice with my mom. We were both blown away by the incredible flavor explosions that were happening with every bite! Their prices are totally reasonable and the service was top notch. We will be coming back here to try something new every chance we get! A++++ 100 Stars++++++

The food was excellent! The brisket was cooked flawlessly, and although I'm not particularly fond of papaya, I liked theirs; the pho was spot on. The service could use some improvement, but I assume it will develop with more experience. The establishment must be popular since it was extremely busy. The waitstaff were all running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Thank you! Will visit again... Continue the great work!
