Right Choice Movers

This moving company was great to work with! From start to finish, Right Choice Movers were professional, helpful and made our move so simple. The entire experience went well and I'm thankful for their help. I have moved over a dozen times, including 2 cross-country moves and they were by far the best company I have worked with. The price quoted was less than other movers I researched and ultimately ended up coming under budget which made my husband very happy. I highly recommend this company to anyone moving and thank the crew for helping us move into our dream home.

Stay Away!! Did not show up for our move this past Friday. We paid in full prior as well and received confirmation from this company about day and time. We cannot even get in contact with anyone about a refund so we have to go through our bank.

Excellent! The movers came right on time and the move was amazingly smooth. They were professional, careful and very efficient. Highly reccomend!!

The guys who came out today were fantastic. They were courteous and polite and careful with our things, they completed the move right on time, even in pouring rain and hail. They worked around us completing our packing, and worked with us the whole time on what they should take and where things went when they were unloading. They were also conscientious of our two year old wandering as well, which made me feel very comfortable. Vernon and the other two he arrived with, I unfortunately did not catch their names, were very professional and are great at what they do. Thank you for making this move run smoothly and stress-free.

I never write reviews but I feel like I have to take the time to write this one. First, they don't even remotely deserve one star but as we know that's my only option. I have NEVER been so upset with a company and I TRULY feel like they are scam artists. Right Choice Movers packed our house for a long distance move and also loaded our moving containers. All seemed to go ok until of course we got to our destination and unpacked. Every single piece of furniture was damaged, that is no exaggeration. The movers at our new location that we hired to unpack our moving containers were in shock by the way our containers were originally packed. They took dozen of photos to protect themselves because items were packed so incorrectly and we were finding so many damaged things. My beautiful wooden bedroom dressers have huge gouges and scratches in them from not being wrapped, we have a broken TV, my baby's brand new, never before used crib is a mess with huge black scratches, gouges, and chipped paint, there were two boxes with glass frames and wooden collections pieces that were literally all thrown into a box together, on top of one another, not wrapped, no cushions between them, our expensive leather sofa we had to save a year for has rips and tears all over, original paintings were just thrown into the containers not wrapped and have scratches all over, but the most heart breaking...SEVERAL pieces of my grandmother's crystal (some from her wedding 70 or so years ago) were shattered from the rushed, awful packing job this company did. There are no words to express how disappointed I am and full of regret I am for hiring them. When I called to explain what had happened AND emailed over pictures of all the damaged items, they were rude and short with me. First asking me if I was there to "supervise" the packing. I was not aware your employees needed supervision for one, two, there were three of them who were packing in three different rooms. Did I need to bring my whole family down so each of your employees were being supervised??Here's where their scam pays off...because I didn't use their moving truck and they didn't move my items themselves to the next location, there's nothing they would do for me. Think about that...they could literally do the shittiest job they wanted at packing my items, throwing things in boxes with complete disregard, knowing if something broke, they can get away with it. There's ABSOLUTELY nothing protecting the customer. I'm in complete shock that they can see the damages and choose to do nothing for their carelessness. So there nothing more I can do but stare at my broken, once beautiful, 70 year old crystal pieces and my baby's brand new crib with giant gashes all over it and write this review. I URGE you not to use them...you will most definitely be sorry.

Guys were on time, worked fast, and no hidden charges. I'd highly recommend. Said it would take 3 hrs and they hit itright on the nose.

Poor bunch of guys didn't do what was expected please do not use these guys I used AAA and they were twice as fast and way friendlier then most companies

They don't ever answer their phones. Tried on 3 separate occasions during business hours to call and schedule a move. Every time they let it ring, and then forward to voice-mail. Not sure how they expect to get business if they don't even answer the phone...Edit: Funny enough, 5 minutes after I posted this review, I magically got a call back from them. That only confirms my suspicions that they were intentionally just not answering the phone. Happily scheduled with another company now that answers their phone during business hours.

The team of 3 arrived to my home an hour late. There was a reported family emergency and one of the guys wasn't going to be able to make it. Right Choice found a person to fill in. The team arrived and the fill in person was very verbal about being displeased that he was called into work. This made the entire situation very uncomfortable. There was miscommunication about the items that needed to be moved. The team was under the impression that my boxes were not being moved, and this caused one of the staff to again, become very verbal about his displeasure of having to work. The team worked as quickly as possible to load my items into their truck. On the drive to my new home, the moving truck had mechanical issues, but thankfully made it to our destination. When the truck arrived to my new home, it started to leak antifreeze everywhere. The team started to unload my items. In that process they continually told me that my standard sized couches were too big to get in my door and down the hallway. They were able to successfully get my couches in my home, thankfully. One of the staff carried a small bookshelf on his head and broke the back of it. After the team left, I noticed a HUGE scratch on my brand new wood bed frame. This was the first time I have used a moving company, and my goal was to eliminate stress for my family and me. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. The entire process with this team was extremely stressful due to the loud, obnoxious verbal complaints about having to work, their doubts about being able to move my couches BEFORE THEY EVEN TRIED and the damage to my furniture. I would absolutely caution anybody from using this company, my experience was one I will never forget.Addendum after phone call from the Supervisor:I have spoken with the supervisor three times to voice my concerns. He feels strongly that my experience is not an accurate representation of Right Choice Movers. While I respect his opinion, I have stated that I can only testify regarding my experience. The supervisor requested that I submit pictures of the damaged furniture and they will submit a claim. The supervisor has always communicated in a respectful, professional manner. He has apologized for my negative experience. The bottom line with my experience is yes, my items were successfully moved to my new home, however it was a very stressful experience. I am hoping that Right Choice Movers understands that the staff that they send out to people's homes are the face of their company. They need to ensure that the face of their company is a positive one.Addendum after Colleen D's second comment:I completely understand that the late arrival was not the fault of the team doing my move. That was mentioned to illustrate the entire story of my move experience. That was not my primary concern. And I would like to highlight that I did say "Right Choice found a person to fill in". Regarding the tip, of course I am going to give a tip! What kind of person would that make me after a team does such a physical job and NOT leave a tip? Personally, that is against my own values to not tip a person in the service industry even for a poor job, because they are people and have to make a living to survive just like me. I think that the back and forth occurring from you on Yelp speaks volumes about the integrity of the company. This will be my last and final post and response regarding this experience. Again, to the readers, proceed with this company with caution.

The office staff was nice enough and called to confirm my move. They showed up on time and completed the move in a timely fashion.
