Very knowledgeable owner who has a passion for the history of textiles and a plethora of knowledge to share. She specializes in reproductions for the theater and for anyone else looking to capture an era or learn more anti it. Great experience, quality fabrics. I stop whenever I'm in town.

Looked in line ahead of day trip to Northfield . Was looking forward to stopping (with my mask) as the website noted the hours and that they were open. Took the elevator to the second floor and walked in. First impression was interesting- I looked for all of less than 5 minutes before a woman came out of another room and told me they ere closed and that she had a 74 year old husband at home to protect. Well- I get that but lock the door or put a sign up to indicate that. She said it was on the website but I had to look the website up to get there and there was no mention. Likely will not be back due to the way the interaction took place.

OK, I have to admit, I was not eager to go to see Reproduction Fabrics as I thought I'd seen them all. I've bought some and made some retro quilts that were pretty cool but I'm not into them as a whole. We rode our bikes to check out the shop which is just a tiny bit out of town, in a building that looks like an office or university building. Boy, what a pleasant surprise once we were inside. You enter via a hallway that has some sale fabric laid out that really doesn't give you the full effect of what you're about to see further inside. Amazing is all I have to say. The quilts are arranged according to the time period or era it represents. There are simply hundreds of bolts of fabrics covering every possible theme and color possible. I had to go around the room several times to actually take it all in. Store hours are a little limited, something like 10 to 1 or 3 but if you go by, you might actually find someone there even when its not normal hours. Very cool place indeed.
