Red Rocket Pizza

Great pizza - 4 stars!How can you resist trying pizza from a company with a rocket logo and a big cartoon pizza with a cute Chijuajua face in the middle? I know I couldn't resist. I hunted them down tonight at Aegir Brewing in Elk River.I ordered 2 pizzas, one to eat at the brewery and one for later. I got two because I had a feeling they'd taste great. And I wasn't disappointed. I got the "Dude Man" and the "Cool Man". Despite the name, the cool man had some yummy spicy heat - yow! I love some heat. Good stuff.Both pizzas had a nice wood fired mottling on the crust. I could taste a generous amount of high grade Mozzarella Cheese. There were some nice little details too, like a light drizzle of honey on the crust...savory with a hint of sweet...a nice touch.My only (minor) criticism is both crusts were doughy and floppy, a little undercooked. They only needed an extra minute or two on the heat. I'm willing to cut them some major slack, however, because it was only 17 degrees. They were cooking everything under an open air tent canopy and they were all wearing winter puffer coats. Wow, the Red Rocket crew is dedicated and tough - they're definitely native Minnesotans!Red Rocket is pretty new and they told me a food trailer is on order and being built-out right now. Had Red Rocket Pizza cater an event for over 100 people this weekend. They did a phenomenal job! I got lots of compliments on the Pizza from our guests. I thought the pizza tasted, hot, fresh and delicious. I would recommend Red Rocket Pizza for any event. It was perfect!

We had pizza from their food truck when it was in St Cloud at Pantown on 1/3/25. Our table got a total of 7 pizzas. In terms of service, they just plopped them on our table with no paper plates, napkins, or parm/crushed pepper.The pizza is overall ok, but the sauce is too sweet and it tastes like they put sugar in the crust (or too much in the sauce), sugar in the crust is a no-no with Neapolitan pizza.At about $20/pizza, our entire table was disappointed. My husband was eating leftovers later that evening and found a curly dark hair under his cheese also so that really put the nail in the coffin in our opinion.

Just had the best pizza I've had in a lonnng time! Stopped by Bad Weather brewery on my way back home to CA and stumbled upon The Red Rocket mobile pizza truck, and it didn't disappoint!! Hope you guys branch out to Los Angeles sometime in the near future. Yum! :)

Delicious. Had the coolest guy, and I want to eat it everyday for the rest of my life.

Pizza is pretty good here. Had an experience that soured me on it, unfortunately. Ordered cheesey bread and marinara for my vegetarian wife. Found sausage all up in the sauce (after she had a few bites). I went back to the truck to ask them "Is the marinara supposed to have meat in it?" And they gave me an enthusiastic "Yes!". Everything tasted good to me (I am an omnivore), but I would ask you to do better with labeling menu items to make it easier for customers to accommodate their diet when ordering. Marinara traditionally does not have meat, so it's not a fun surprise for people who do not eat it.
