Red Rabbit St. Paul

Hop on over here for a relaxed vibe and exciting food. Yes, I did say hop and yes I said exciting. I've been here twice in the past 6 months. Still a great place for lunch or dinner. What I love is their twist on "regular food"Example-their grilled cheese sandwich is gigantic and overflowing with fontina, cheddar, mozzarella, pesto...it's remarkable. The tomato soup you picture in your mind is not this-this is a taste bud sensation of spices and creamy tomato.

Noooo....they took away the vegan pizza ....This is a catastrophic event - as traumatic as when Ricky got shot in the alley in the movie Boyz In The HoodAnywho....This place has a nice ambiance without being super spendy. The service is wonderful and the food was of great quality. It's kinda like "The Lowry" of Saint Paul (but the Lowry has a slight edge at the moment). I haven't a single solitary complaint - I would recommend

I have been to the Minneapolis location, but I think the St. Paul location is even better! It feels larger, beautifully decorated, and has an atmosphere that's simply phenomenal.The food here is incredible. We enjoyed oysters, pasta, and pizza, and I can see why the pasta and pizza are the highlights--they're what the restaurant is best known for, and they didn't disappoint. The flavors were spot on! I also tried a gin cocktail called Blossom Something (I can't quite remember the name), but it was absolutely delightful.One thing to note: they don't take reservations unless you have a group of six or more, so I'd highly recommend getting there early if you want a table. It's always packed, but the energy adds to the charm.The staff were wonderful, and the service was impressively fast despite how busy it was. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it for a great meal with amazing vibes!

This place has a great atmosphere and lots of space--fantastic for Grand Ave! We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed some warm food and refreshing drinks. I ordered the Pick Two with the gooey grilled cheese and a Caesar salad. The portions were perfect for mid-day. I also tired the white winter sangria. It was bright with an undertone of autumn-spice flavor.The wait staff were great, too--attentive but not overbearing. Great meal overall!

They have a great happy hour menu. My first visit wasn't very memorable, but I went in December 2024 and really enjoyed the food and service. We got the chicken wings, which had a smokey and savory flavor; the burrata, which was small, but so good; the PB pizza, which I would definitely get again and, the cavatelli, which may have been my least favorite dish, but it wasnt bad. Overall, Id recommend it for happy hour!

The summer Negroni was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious!!!!!!!I came here for a date. Got here earlier than they did so I sat at the bar. It wasn't busy at the bar on a Wednesday evening.We were seated immediately. Ordered the fresh oysters and wood grilled oysters both which were delicious but I always love fresh ones more!! Our server Jake was amazing! He was hilarious!!! And so helpful! Also had the PB & J pizza which was good.Wasn't impressed by the Salmon Picatta.

Comfortable seating on the patio!Mac was our server and I felt I was with a very high maintenance friend! Mac supported her with patience and knelt down to her level when speaking with her.The food no doubt was divine! I enjoyed roasted beet salad. Come on friends don't forget to order your veggies. My pasta was delicious as well. The pasta is placed on a pool of goat cheese fondue and the pasta is topped with their award winning red rabbit Mariana sauce!I must go back and try dessert next!

Incredible service, impeccable wine, delicious food, and the kicker... open past 9pm! Our waitress had friends with celiac so she knew the protocol and ensured the safety of my food. I was surprised at how quickly my food came out as well. The quality was delicious and our waitress had excellent wine recommendations that paired well with my gluten-free cavatelli pasta. The wine list is pricier than some but the quality is for the wine lover who appreciates quality (or the newbie looking to up their wine palette)!Red Rabbit was an interesting mix between Italian restaurant and sports bar (think, somewhat casual but great for a date night where you can feel right at home in a sundress or sweater). We went after an event and like many gluten-free foodies, my options were slim since many restaurants that accommodate GF close the kitchen by 8 or 9pm. Red Rabbit closes their kitchen at 10 on the weekend so this was a great find!

My friends and I have become frequent goers of red rabbit. They're happy hour deals are incredible and we always have a great time with delicious food. The interior is well lit and relatively quiet so it's easy to have a conversation. The service is always quick and I have never waited more than 15 minutes for a dish even with a party of eight. The food is incredible! The ravioli was full of flavor and the walnuts on top added for a delicious crunch. Overall, I absolutely love red rabbit and cannot wait to go back and try more!

My husband and I had dinner here last night for the first time. OMG......we LOVED it!!! We started with a chopped salad which we split.....DELICIOUS!! I had the margarita pizza which was very tasty, with what tasted like homemade pizza sauce, so great. I couldn't finish the entire pizza so can enjoy that today! Then my husband, oh my......per recommendation of our server, Christopher,who was excellent, had the cavatelli! Best thing I've tasted in a long time and what I will be ordering next time!! Such a great new find for us!! We will definitely be back soon!!
