Great craft beer selection but check the dates. Got some home to find it was expired. Never thought I needed to be concerned about checking the date on beer like you do for milk. And clearly Red Lion doesn't either. Tasted super skunky.

Arrived at 9:53 PM to locked doors which is odd because Minnesota law allow sales until 10 PM. The associate at the front of the store proceeded to have a conversation with another associate and customer while myself and an accumulating group of customers waited to be acknowledged in the slightest bit, all while it was snowing and 28°F with blowing winds. Finally at 10:01, the chatty young woman came to the front to let out customer within the store and exasperate about being closed and unable to help.

I can walk to Red Lion from my house so it's my usual destination when I need a bottle of wine or an apology beer for my BF (I find it amusing to offer up Bitch Creek beer when I'm being a bit of a B myself).Overall, I love the Red Lion. It's a convenient location (for me), the inside is spacious and clean, and the selection is great. I've never been disappointed by a trip to Red Lion. The staff is also fabulous. So helpful and friendly without being overbearing!

Tucked in Burnsville's "heart of the city" Red Lion Liquor is a convenient stop if you're picking up groceries at the nearby Cub. This place is the closest liquor store to our house so we pop in every now and then. I'm a devoted Trader Joe's wine buyer so I don't pick up wine here unless I'm in a pinch and my husband adores Blue Max for their vast selection of beer, but Red Lion stocks all the usual suspects when it comes to your wine, beer or hard liquor needs. The location is spotless, adequately sized and convenient and the staff are always helpful & friendly.

Been there twice. Small but decently stocked, and mostly decent staff. Cashier made a big show of checking my credit card. (For a six pack of Guinness? Really?) I'm glad for them that they don't need my business.

Was just in today to buy wine and orange juice. I asked one of the old men to wait while I activated my temporary debit card. He processed the transaction before I'd even tapped my phone. Then he loudly says it's been declined. No excrement. I tell him it's because I haven't tapped my phone yet and he gets defensive, so I leave without the purchase. While I'm waiting in the parking lot for my Uber, I see him staring at me in full Kevin mode. Don't visit this store if you're skin doesn't look like oven baked chicken with sazon seasoning.

I used to go here for the best price in tequila - which made them stand out against all the other liquor stores. Now that they no longer off that deal, they're just like all the other liquor stores. Nothing special anymore.

The staff was very rude. They were slurring drunk and cursing while talking whiskey shots at the registers. I realize they were testing whiskey from a supplier but it's 1in the afternoon and you're at work. Show some professional!

Friendly place and they introduced me to Lairds, a apple brandy George Washington had a hand in. Very tasty. Also willing to order in unusual or little known brands.
