Red Cow Wayzata

What a great location and an unbelievable staff. If you are newer to summers in Minnesota. Wayzata is a a gem city which means at times people can act like they are bigger than life. We hit a busy night with a one hour wait and our server handled groups that don't like to wait for anything with grace and class. Pair that with delicious burgers and beer with fries and cheese curds and you have a great evening by the lake.

I've been here a couple of times now. Love the location in cute downtown Wayzata and their happy hour!We have tried a lot of items: -Barrel burger: is not a smashed burger like it claims, it's more of a normal burger patty. Tasty but not smashed.-Truffle fries: delicious!-French onion soup: absolutely love the broth (best we have ever had) but it was lukewarm. Not sure if they bake it but it should be cooked under a salamander and come out hot, it tasted more microwaved. The cheese should be bubbling over the sides. Please swap the croutons for a perfect circle of bread and cover the bread in cheese and you've got a game changer! -chicken wrap: fell apart on me and was dry. Had to ask for sauce.-chicken wings: delicious! Get them. The sticky ones were our fav!-turkey burger: was very dry. From start (including putting in our names) to finish, we left after being there a little over 2 hours. Our waitress wasn't very friendly and not attentive. She would take one person's request and then disappear without hearing what everyone else might have wanted. We had to flag her down many times. We will be back for happy hour.

Sat down for a light happy hour snack, service was excellent. Wait staff gaves us a few minutes to look over the menu, took our orders and checked in on us every so often. He was very accommodating serving us but not rushing us to finish.The wings and sliders were good, buffalo wings could have been had just a little more heat (spice) but that is really a personal preferance they were cooked perfectly. The double barrel slides were also delicious we would have both again.

First time at the Wayzata location and it's now our favorite of the ones we've been to. The space is nice and open. Good vibes inside. We started with the chips and onion dip and the onion rings. Chips and dip is a must. Chips are hot and crispy and dip is lick the bowl clean delicious. Onion rings were ok, kinda greasy, sauce didn't add anything, wouldn't get again. We got the double barrel burger with tots and the steak frites. Burger is fantastic. Steak was cooked perfect and bordelaise sauce on top and bernaise sauce on the side were both great, though it was a little spendy for what it was at $27. Chandler was our server, he was friendly and he let us take our time, we never felt rushed. Lots of parking options either on street or in multiple parking garages, both of which are free. We will definitely be back.

Love Love Love!! My friend and I split a chocolate shake and decided to get it before our meals. The chocolate shake really fulfilled our sweet tooths. I ordered the Patty melt and YUM!! So delicious and flavorful with the crispy buttery sourdough and the burger patty so juicy with the onions! The parmesan truffle fries are the star of the show, truly!! Highly recommend them if you are a big truffle fan like me!! The waitress we had was so friendly and very nice!! It gets very busy so I would recommend making a reservation!! Very lively atmosphere!!

First, our waiter Chris was one of the best we've ever had! Extremely prompt and professional - thank you!Instead of burgers we did the conn salad and tuna sandwich and didn't regret at all. The place was busy on a warm Oct 10th, so nice to have the doors open. Great vibe. Just wish they took reservations.

Came here for brunch on the weekend and it wasn't crazy busy. Server forgot our appetizer but they brought it out a bit later and took it off the check, so at least that was nice. Server was very nice and apologetic about it!Food was absolutely delicious, every bite was amazing. My drink was very 'meh', was expecting some more sweetness on the old fashioned with the syrup theme and it didn't meld very well.

First time checking out this location and from a service and ambiance standpoint I have to say - I think it's my favorite!The server was so fun, knowledgeable, and attentive. I went with a Mule and Double Barrel Burger with recommended Truffle Tots. Omg those tots! The burger was thick and juicy, packed with flavor.Also tried the sweet corn elote as an appetizer and whoa! This is an absolute banger.Definitely recommend checking them out and enjoying the patio.

This was my first time at the Wayzata location. It's in such a cute area, I'm surprised I haven't seen in before! I had the classic cheeseburger and it was delicious. My partner got the double barrel burger which is very tasty as well. The service was attentive and friendly from the waiter:)

DH and I stopped by here last night for burgers. I had the 60/40 and DH had the Double Barrel. Both were delicious. The truffle fries were excellent! I'm craving them today.Service was great! We will be back!
