The Wisconsin Cheese Curds are easily some of the best I've tasted in my life. The breading on them is impossibly thin and airy which I've not experienced with other curds. They are a "must try".The restaurant vibe is modern and clean with good music and a variety of sporting events to watch at the bar. I had the privilege of having Tara be my server and she was friendly, personable, attentive and prompt!Keep up the great work!

The only downfall for this restaurant be the parking! This restaurant willBe much busier if in not located under the Berkman building. The parking for one hour and 13 minutes was $7.00! I don't mind paying for dinner. But the restaurant mentioned 45 minutes is free! But 1 hour and 13 minutes why do I pay for $7. I have the proof of payment. Talk to the restaurant, they don't have the answer and forward me to the hotel, and went to the hotel management, saying is not their problem. Is sad to see a great restaurant, food delicious but won't be the choice for me anymore since $7.00 for parking for 1 hour and 13 minutes! That's too much for Rochester!

I had visited two different Red Cow locations in Minneapolis and my experiences were stellar. I found out that Rochester had a Red Cow location that I hadn't visited, so I thought that I'd give it a try in late September.Part of me wishes that I hadn't. The food was yummy. My server's polish with his rapport needed help. This location is near the Mayo Clinic. It means that parking is at a premium. Across the street is a McDonald's with plenty of parking. There was a sign that said to not park there unless you were a McDonald's customer. Well, I parked in this lot. Four hours later, I bought a drink and picked up a free Big Mac.Technically, I was a customer with a delay factor of four hours.I crossed the street and walked in. I waited a bit before a woman greeted me. She sat me in a corner next to a couple. The view allowed me to watch the Vikings-Packers game. When I lived in Rochester, I ventured out on a Sunday when these two teams were playing. I was doing the same thing. It was a Sunday. I was grabbing lunch. The only difference is that I don't mind watching football these days.My server was Jackson. He seemed nice. He got a menu for me and walked away. Another female server got my drink order, which was a glass of water and and a Diet Coke. She came back with my DIet Coke. No water. He came back with water. He placed the glass of water on top of my menu in front of me. He then asked, "Did you want something else?" What a peculiar way to ask a question and place my glass of water. I just got here. You got me water. I have a Diet Coke. Yes, I'd like food.I ordered the lobster mac and cheese. Red Cow had three varieties of mac and cheese. This one was the most expensive of the three and also appealed to me the most.My server spent a lot of time in front of the kitchen, waiting for orders. He was also watching the Vikings game, as were most folks in this eatery. The woman seated at the table next to me approached me. She explained that her coughing wasn't COVID-19, but a health issue that she's getting addressed at the Mayo Clinic. It was thoughtful of her to explain why she was coughing to me. I let her know that I appreciated her sharing her medical condition with me. I also said that her coughing didn't bother me. It has always made sense to me that folks come down to Rochester to seek medical attention. She and her husband seemed relieved. They had specified to have no one sit next to them. All of a sudden, they got me.Yes, there's another issue with staff not communicating with one another about their request. They were disappointed. I don't blame them.I said that what bothered me was my server asking if I wanted anything else after getting my drink order. Her husband agreed that it was an awkward question to pose.I got my lobster mac and cheese from a different server. It looked good. I thanked her and went to town. This dish had lobster tail meat. It was cut into generous chunks and was scrumptious. The shellbow pasta was al dente. There was the perfect amount of five-cheese sauce that coated each pasta. This dish had old bay seasoning on top, which was perfect. My Diet Coke and water helped wash everything down. The former was okay.I didn't get any dessert. I could either get a milkshake or mini donuts. Nothing appealed to me.I paid with a credit card. This place doesn't have a payment machine, so my card had to be run through their system. I then signed a paper receipt.I used the women's washroom before I left. It was nicely designed and clean.I don't think that I'll return for a bit. Jackson needs help with his customer service skills. He should have asked if I was ready to order instead of whether I wanted anything else. The placement of my glass of water was also odd. I'd rather hit a Red Cow up in the Twin Cities for more polished customer service.(410)

Easy access to some hotels.Pleasant check in staff.I had to wait for some time after being seated. The waiter seemed to get distracted with other tables who were seated after me.I would have rated it higher if the efficiency of wait staff was improved. I ordered the salmon burger which was fantastic. The restaurant seemed to be casual with mainly burgers and appsI was a little disappointed that the dessert options were limited.

Enjoyed our lunch at Red Cow Rochester. We ordered the 60/40 Burger with sweet potato fried and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Destiny was a great server. I'd eat here at. Great bar and patio seating.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting family at the Mayo. We were quickly seated. The drink menu had so much variety. From Kombucha to THC seltzers and a variety of mixed drinks with or without alcohol. Our waiter, James, was super friendly. Had all the jokes, and really made a point to provide us with excellent service. He suggested a few of his favorites, and they were definitely a hit! The berry ketchup with the cheese curds was a flavor combination that really worked though we weren't sure to begin with. The Elote was perfect. Honestly, we all really LOVED everything we tried! When back in the area we will definitely have to hit this spot again!!

If you want a mediocre milkshake, this is NOT the place for you. Which meant it was perfect for me. We were directed here because of the food but my ice-cream loving self couldn't pass up a milkshake. It was creamy and had the perfect blend of ingredients-ice cream, brownie and caramel. My companion also tried the birthday cake and the chocolate and had no complaints. I only had a shake but my companion loved the burger and wings that he tried. It's no doubt why this place is popular.

**Review for The Red Cow in Rochester:**The Red Cow in Rochester is a fantastic spot for happy hour! I tried two of their happy hour sliders. While the half pork slider wasn't to my taste--it reminded me too much of a Jimmy Dean sausage--the regular burger slider was absolutely fire! It was incredibly juicy and flavorful, definitely one of the best I've had.To top it off, the bartender was super friendly and made the experience even better. If I'm ever back in Rochester I'll definitely be back for more of that amazing burger and the great atmosphere. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Manager called, apologized, refunded--thanked me for catching the excess tax after they had had a recent change in the billing systems within the hotel.
