Went to try out Ray J's with some friends! I've heard many good things about the wings but if I ever see a juicy lucy I will be trying that!! I would recommend going during the morning as it was not busy at all. I also like that there was a parking lot so you don't need to stress about finding parking. I ended up getting a juicy lucy with bacon. It came with fries and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crisps. I feel as if I haven't had enough juicy lucy to compare but it's really good! I would say it's just hard to eat but the cheese gushing out is what makes it so good. I will definitely try the chicken wings next time. Overall, I would recommend trying this place out.

I initially thought this spot was owned by R&b singer Ray J, Brandy's brother. But I don't think so anymoreWhomever Ray J is, he's got the right formula for a successful restaurant. Good food, good parking, speedy service, Tv's for your viewing pleasure - great place to be for an all around quality experience. I reckon I'd go so far to call it underrated

Hands down the best wings in Minneapolis! Always a great spot to watch the Vikings play, grab a drink, and have a good time. Service is always fast and the atmosphere is a true sports bar.- Anthony

Me and my friends visit Ray is often to watch basketball games. Sports bar with amazing wings! Wings are always super hot and fresh when they come out and that's how I like them. Staff is a hit or miss, they definitely do their job, just doesn't always feel friendly, but I still go back lol

One word - wow!More words... this place is fantastic! The menu has almost too many great sounding options. I got the Cajun pasta of course, but also ordered the Ray J's deluxe flatbread/pizza.Let's start with the pasta. It was DELICIOUS! Both the chicken and the pasta had great flavor. The creamy Cajun sauce was a little spicy. The garlic bread was as absolute win to soak up the remaining sauce. The pizza was an absolute impulse purchase after reading through the menu. Worth it. I loved the topping combination.

Anytime I'm craving wings, Ray J's is where I'll go!On a recent trip, my partner and I split the bacon cheeseburger and a full order of wings - the nutty rooster and drunken sauces are both great! The burger was good, pretty bare bones, no frills. Parking is easy, a table is easy enough to find, beer list is great! Service can be a bit slow as wings usually take a bit.

Classic bar food. The garlic burger with waffle fries hit the spot after a run. I would get this again. We got a full order of wings and were able to get half Nutty Rooster and half Asian Sesame wings. The Asian sesame was extremely saucy. The nutty rooster definitely tasted better than the Asian ones. Service was pretty good. Lots of people in there on a Thursday night watching sports on the big tvs. Overall a pretty good experience!

Ray J's is a local American Bar and Restaurant serving your typical American fare. This place is quite popular in the neighborhood at all times of the day thanks in large part to their large menu, affordable prices, and good bar atmosphere. There are TVs everywhere in the restaurant showcasing all of the major sports games. There is ample seating with a lot of large booths and tables capable of seating some pretty large groups. I have come here with groups as large as 12 before during the day and they have been able to seat us no problem. They have specials on Mondays and Tuesdays, but the Monday special is unbeatable where you can get a cheeseburger and fries for $8! And it's a pretty large burger so quite the deal. The service is always pretty good, they are able to split large checks for groups, they know their menu pretty well, and are very attentive with refilling water. The food is all good, but my favorite thing to order from here are the Wings! They were voted best wings in Minnesota and I think they're definitely up there. They are MASSIVE with each wing being the full "wing" - tip, flat, and drumstick together so keep that in mind when you order. My favorite wing is the Homestyle, but they can be a little too salty for me sometimes. Also, they serve food til really late so often times this is the last place serving food open in the neighborhood (besides White Castle).Definitely a fun spot, and a go to for my friend group!

The food is pretty good. The wings used to be excellent but not so much in the last year. The afternoon I was there I sat at the bar, not busy at all & the bartender took about 8 min to say anything to me, I almost left. I may go back again, maybe it was a fluke!!

I go here strictly for the wings. Some of the best wings in the cities. You get the full wing with flat and drum together. The drunken wings, garlic parm, buffalo and smoky ranch are all to die for. Great service. They do have parking in the back. Always fun and packed when Minnesota teams are playing. I def recommend Ray js for your sports bar needs.
