Ray Jay's

Stopped in last night, Saturday for dinner. It was unusually quiet for a Saturday night, but hey, that's my wheelhouse. To get to the dining room, we had to walk through the bar where there was maybe three or four people. There was a pool table, a Ms Pac Man and a couple other games in the restaurant side and an "arcade" between it and the bar. My mom asked me to split a burger with her, I declined with an "I'm really hungry". Each of burgers came w a pickle spear, a small cup of coleslaw and a plethora of fries. We both brought home half of our burgers. My cousin opted for the Chicken Cordon Bleu and my aunt for the shrimp. We all enjoyed our meals in the quiet atmosphere. Our server, the bartender, Connie was friendly and helpful, when I asked her how she liked the burger? Our food came out quick and hot. We got a chuckle during our meal when the lights came on and then a bit later shut off again. There were several windows to provide ample light. I didn't get pictures but you walk over a small deck w a few umbrella'ed tables on it to enter Ray Jay's. Thanks Ray Jay's for a delicious and filling meal..

Great Pizza!!! Got the deluxe 16". Just passing through from the Oshkosh Air Show! Good times were had by all!

Bathrooms haven't been cleaned since 1986. No hot water, how do people wash their hands?

First time here upon a recommendation. Great little bar/restaurant. Very friendly service! We tried the pizza which was very good! Hot, tasty, and a great crust! Will definitely go back to try the BBQ!

Look, if you haven't been to Ray Jay's, you can't tell your left shoe from a walleye. It would be silly to not come here and get a good beer or two. The drinks; great price and great pour. The food; hell I'm coming back for another one of these pizzas. The service; young gentleman with a mustache, Preston, made sure my crown ginger was never empty, and was always ready to assist with anything I need!

Waited 1 1/2 hours for a grilled cheese sandwich and chicken tenders dinner, last year waited over an hour for a burger I never got because I got tired of waiting, not everyone goes into a restaurant in a bar to drink, I get it the longer you wait the more people will drink, not everyone drinks, and I don't need a drunk husband because he has drank 3 beers on an empty stomach,

Crazy-sweet human beings! We've only been up here for 24 hours and we've already stopped 3 times. Think we're on our way to becoming regulars, at least while we're in town. So far I've had the burger, the wings and the pizza. All three of were fantastic but I think the burger was my favorite. Come for the food, stay for the company. Keep it up, y'all!

This is the best Rib eye I have ever had . The potato was enormous the salad was great. The service was awesome. I can't say enough of how much we enjoyed it here. We recently purchased a cabin in the area and this will be our go to place

Went to this place several years ago. At least an hour drive from our cabin, but we heard it was so good and it really was!! Decided to go back a week ago. Holy shit! Awful, just horrible! Service was laughable, it was that bad!! Don't know where she kept disappearing to, but finally we gave up! Our food never came, she never came back to take another drink order. Threw the bartender a $20 and walked out. By the way, he also looked like he had zero idea what was going on there. Truly ridiculous. Can't believe this place has any business at all.

Update, today we decided to give Ray jays another shot for the all-u-can eat fish. Well unfortunately we got the same absolutely worthless server again! This time the place was almost empty. She had a total of 3 customers including our table of 2. We ordered 1- fried fish and fries, and one baked fish and fries. Order came out after approx 20 mins. It was completely wrong. It was all fried and with baked potatoes. We reminded her what we ordered. After 20 mins it came out wrong again. Our waitress got mad and kicked a chair as she walked away and left the wrong food. She came back about 3 minutes later and gave us a bill and the last we seen of her at our table. We had the bartender filling out drinks and getting our food for the rest of the meal
