We came to So St Paul to visit my daughter. This is her favorite Chinese food place. We thought we'd try it out. We had Chicken mushroom chow mein, sweet and sour shrimp, chicken lo mein , and egg foo young. The shrimp and sauce are separate so you don't have mushy shrimp. The lo mein has a hint of sesame oil that adds that m-m-m flavor. There wasn't one item I had a negative thing to say. When we come this way again, I will be ordering from Wongs again. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of the food. We just got right to it when we got home.

Wong's is now QuikSub. Or maybe it's Wong's again, the QuikSub sign disappeared but their menus remain. We gave this a shot when it changed, and the dishes we used to order became mediocre. I wish this business well, but it's definitely not the same as a couple years ago and I'm not sure I'd go back.

Favorite place for Chinese. Hands down! The food, the service, is always amazing. The people there are so kind. They are also very quick. I'd suggest the sesame chicken and chicken fried rice.

I was super excited to try Wong's as I do not get to South St Paul often.I was not disappointed with either the service, quality or price. The eggrolls and the chicken fingers were cooked to crispy perfection, retaining their juiciness and flavor. My girlfriend had the pineapple chicken, she exclaimed she would not be able to eat it all but found it so delicious she ate every bite. Being my first order from here I went with a Minnesota standard chicken sub-gum chow mien with noodles and cashews, this would be the only dish we tried that actually i felt ho-hum about, There just was very little flavor, more bland than what was expected, and very few veggies. We will definitely consider Wong's when we are visiting SSP.

Tried this place for the first time even though I've lived nearby forever. I wanted to try some of the shrimp options, but unfortunately they didn't have shrimp. Not sure if they were out or of they no longer have the shrimp options. Anyhoo, I was a bit disappointed. So I ordered veggie egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, veggie lo mein, and veggie fried rice. The veggie egg rolls were ok. Wontons were good. The lo mein and fried rice were great! I'm not a fan of peas and carrots in fried rice and they don't add them. I'll definitely go back for the lo mein and rice and hopefully I'll get to try a shrimp dish.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, which has large chinatowns, so I have a high bar for Chinese food. This met my bar!I got the orange chicken and the sesame chicken. Plenty of white rice comes with it. Expect to be asked for a spicy level 1-10. I think I preferred the sesame chicken as it was flavorful, but liked that veggies came with the orange chicken.Overall, I recommend!Cash Only!

You might drive passed this place a dozen times and never notice it. If you did notice it you might not give it a 2nd look, much less go in. But you, my friend, would seriously be missing out. If my grandma were Chinese (and still alive) I can imagine her whipping up a meal like you get here. The food is simply made with Love. Fresh, high quality ingredients cooked to perfection by someone that obviously takes great pride in their product. Just like grandma....but with more spices.I couldn't decide what I wanted so I ordered pinneaple lemon chicken and hot and spicy chicken, both at spice level 8 along with some fried rice. I almost ordered some wontons but I didn't want to look like a pig ;-)The hot and spicy chicken is not like Vietnamese hot and spicy chicken....this version has a lighter sauce and they use real pieces of chicken, not the mystery pieces like you see at many places. Big juicy slices of chicken paired with fresh vegetables. The lemon chicken also contains real white meat chicken, battered and lightly deep fried with pineapples (of course) and a terrific lemon sauce that is not overly sweet like many are. This is probably not normally a spicy dish but I think that the added heat put this over the top.And the fried rice? Also terrific.Next time I will probably bump the the the spice level to 10 but I will say that at 8, both dishes definatly had some kick. You never know with these places...too many cater to the wimpy Scandinavian palate when setting heat levels.Great little place. So glad I stopped.

This place has delicious food! I recommend the orange chicken and cream cheese wontons. The food comes out fast and the staff is kind. Don't let the new name, Quiksub, fool you. It's still a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant--not a sub sandwich place.
