Went to lunch with big group. We got to eat all the variety. The food was all delicious. Customer service was great too. They were very friendly and kind. Bought Sanbosa and baklava to go. Price was reasonable. I would for sure go back there again!

The Somali food is decent but the customer service is terrible . I had to sit myself and wait 30 mins to get help. The served gave me my mango drink and looked at me crazy when I asked for water too. Then the food took another 40mins to be served to me. The server seemed easily irritated and overwhelmed with this job. To be honest people only go to Qoraxlow because it's a nice dine in Somali restaurant. With the way Somali people are progressing in the food industry it's only a matter of time someone comes up and makes another nice dine in spot. I love supporting my people ,but we have to do better with customer service.

For a restaurant in a windowless concrete room, the food was quite good. This restaurant is inside the Karmel Somali mall. If I wanted to exoticize Qoraxlow, I would say how it was deep inside a Somali bazaar, surrounded by a maze of stalls selling spices and other exotic wares from foreign lands (sort of like how colonial accounts of Africa would describe going deep into the steamy jungle to encounter some strange and possibly dangerous natives).Actually, it is hard to find, especially since it doesn't look anything like what I usually imagine a restaurant to look like. It's more like a break room at some old warehouse, I wasn't even sure where the kitchen was.I had a chicken dish consisting of tasty slices of lightly breaded chicken breast. And of course the massive pile of rice, side salad, and complimentary drink that are ubiquitous at Somali restaurants (but no banana!).

Next door to the Somali market. A bit difficult to find as it faces the parking garage and not the street. Dumpy place with delicious food.

I have eaten at several Somali restaurants. Today one of my Somali students brought us to this wonderful Somali market. This was by far the best Somali food I have ever eaten. The goat meat and rice was out of this world! The men that served us were as nice as any people I have ever encountered.

Great food, horrible customer service. I keep going back for the food and but I would love it more if the servers were nice.
