Puffy Cream Donut Plus

Love this family owned donut shop. Everything is always baked fresh right here every morning, and you can tell. They also have the famous 'number donuts' which are basically 18 inch tall donut cakes in the shape of a number to celebrate a birthday. My kids get them every year, which is now getting expensive since they're in double digits. lol. You do need to order two days in advance for custom stuff, and they're closed Mondays.

I read about Puffy Cream on Reddit when looking for solid basic donuts that don't cost an air and a leg. I stopped in on a Thursday around 8am and while there were plenty of donuts you could tell I missed out on some other options. This is your warning to get there early for the best selection. There were two people ahead of me and two people behind me- which is how you know the donuts are good. I personally had great service, the team working behind the counter were happy to assist through my ordering process and honestly it was super easy. I took off a star based on how staff were speaking to the person ahead of me. They seemed really annoyed with the customer for taking too long to pick out donuts, and losing track of how many are left that he needed to select. I don't love that for him, and I felt the need to go as fast as I could while ordering to avoid causing the same issue. I spent about $45 on two dozen donuts, I loved that they threw in a couple donut holes (and so did my work). All of the donuts were fresh and tasted great. I'll return and I'll try to have most of my order figured out in advance and recommend you do the same.

Favorite donut shop in the Twin Cities! Donuts sellout fast so get there early. Donut holes are a special bonus. Just ask for them.

Best donuts around! My family loves when I wake up early enough to get donuts before this place closes at noon. The service is always so fast and friendly. It's family owned. The ambiance is lacking and the store looks tired, but I kind of like it that way for my donut shop. I feel like they're keeping costs as low as possible for me. It's not like I stay there to eat my donuts.

This place is the best. I will only go here when I need donuts for work. They are always friendly and the donuts are always fresh and so good. When my boss from South Dakota come he ask that we get their Apple fritter and raised donuts. I also love that it is a small business that is operated by people that care about what they do.

Finally made to Puffy Cream donuts. I got there at 7:30 on a Saturday and the line was out the door by the time I left with my donuts. Every donut was fresh and tasty. I love the cute addition to your orders with the donut holes.

Donuts are light and airy but also dense and moist at the same time. Perfect glaze. repeat customer from now on.

All time best donuts ever!! Love every donut I get from here and I share them with so many people and then they get their donuts from Puffy Cream!! I've lived in Eagan for 25 years and this is where we get our donuts!! Matter of fact, I'm going right now to get some!!

Great service and staff! Donuts were good, not overly amazing. I wasn't able to try the puffy cream but would recommend this as it's a house staple
