Primrose School of The Lakes at Blaine

I have mixed feelings about Primrose. Most of the teachers are good and seem to really care out the children, I can't say the same for the owners. Every time I see Betty she has a sour face and doesn't smile at anyone. They serve a lot of canned and processed food. Rates are high, higher than other centers in the area with nothing extra to offer. I do like the clean classrooms/hallway and the outside play grounds are great but that alone is not worth the high tuition costs and annual fee.

It started out a great place. The staff is still great to deal with, the owner in my opinion is always unhappy & takes it out on the people who bring their kids. The billing has been erratic for quite a while with numerous errors that they will not take responsibility for. The kitchen used to be staffed with people who had a degree in culinary arts & had fresh food, the kitchen is now staffed with people who were at one time a teacher at the center, the food is no longer fresh its all frozen or processed, my child would frequently come home hungry due to the small portions & bad food. The education program that they have is poor & I have no idea how it can even come close to meeting state standards. If you are looking for a child care center Primrose in Blaine is definitely one you should avoid.

Please be aware, this daycare center DOES NOT have cameras. If you have any issue at all, it will be "management's word" against you or your child. Concerns were not taken seriously, and there is a systemic problem with responding to parents and resolving concerns.I would not trust this daycare center.

Love, love, love this place. The teacher and staff care a lot about the kids. They are warm, and attentive. The place is clean, well organized, bright and happy. Also love the security and safety features.
