Poppys Pizza On Main & 19

Good fresh pizza and friendly staff. Was skeptical from the beginning when we chose the "Flamin' Hawaiian" pizza. I am just not that big of a fan of Canadian bacon. For those unfamiliar, Canadian bacon is not ham, similar however, Canadian bacon is a loin cut and hams come from the butt and hind legs. I do not prefer either. Poppy's did not just place slices on either, they were cut up in nice sized pieces. Personally I still removed some of the pieces, maybe favoring the dog waiting outside, but really enjoyed the pizza as made. A fella named Ben was working and took a moment to check in with us and even answered a couple questions with a smile. I recommend giving the pizza here at Poppy's a shot.
