This is the best Play it Again in the Twin Cities. They do a great job rotating seasonal equipment, have great prices on used gear, have a good selection of new equipment, offer some accessories, and are super knowledgeable. The staff there deserves 10 stars, every time I've needed something they know exactly what I'm looking for!

I am 35, I have some great memories of my childhood going to Play It Again Sports with my grandparents. They had what I wanted then and had what I was looking for now. It was a nostalgic experience. I was greeted upon my entrance. I had brought along two pairs of my snowboarding boots and some of my golf clubs in hopes to use them for credit to get my daughter's ice skates. I feel I got a fair offer for what I brought in. The fellas working were very helpful and had knowledge of what they were selling. We got 3 pairs of skates and were able to have them sharpened, a new volleyball and girls picked out a new ball cap for me. I legitimately only had to pull a 1 dollar bill out of my wallet and still got change back. Had it not been for us getting our blades sharpened we would've been out of there in 15-20 mins. The young gentleman helping us even had informed and shared a couple places for us to go to skate. This place is GENERATIONAL!

We brought in some XC skis that we'd bought at another Play It Again Sports location. Once we'd gotten them home, we discovered that the bindings didn't fit my husband's boots. We asked if they did remounting, and they did. Within an hour. At no charge. Amazing.

Ok - we just moved from MI and were hooked on play it again sports there. This store is heads and shoulders above anything we had experienced before. The staff was amazing as we looked at rollerblades and pads. When hockey season starts - this will be our first stop. Well worth the drive to visit!

I have not been to this location in a couple of years. Years ago we had a great experience with great, professional employees. Today was completely opposite and forced us to walk out in the middle of a sale! The sales employee (dark hair male, possibly 20ish) was so rude and demeaning. He literally lost his temper in front of a store full of customers. After we left, we watched 2 other customers walk out equally disgusted. Come on, get some employees that care about your franchise, there are just too many options out there for the consumers that we do not have do deal with type of behavior! If it were my store I'd keep a better eye on how my employees are treating the customers!

Just bought a pair of new cleats for a really reasonable price. Their staff there is really knowledgeable. They helped me look at some used cleats and eventually found a new pair that would do well, despite not being a name brand kind.

First of all, let's be clear that this franchise really DOES sell used equipment at great prices. I went to buy a pair of skis for my son, didn't expect to find much but was surprised to find 20+ pair to chose from. After I selected a pair, the manager came over and asked if I was going to adjust them myself. They have trained technicians who can do this onsite, but I have done this a few times and told him I would do this myself. He didn't pressure me into using his technicians and even gave me some pointers. Really great service from someone who knew the product he was selling. By the way, if you are looking for hockey equipment, they have it, two aisles full.

I love Play It Again, and have been taking my family there for years. In my experience, the staff had been very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable, which is great since I don't know a lot about sports equipment. The store is very clean and organized, and it had a great selection. Overall I'm usually pretty satisfied with the prices. Of all the sporting good stores I've been to, this one is definitely my favorite.
