Plato's Closet

Items are very overpriced in the store for being used. They were selling a pair of used jeans for $50!! Also, if you sell items to them, they only give you a couple bucks even if they're brand new and name brand. They turn away a lot of perfectly fine clothes. I understand they can't take everything, but i'm not sure who or how they decide what is good enough. The workers are also very rude to you and not very helpful.

One of the worst plato's closets I've been to. They claim to sell trendy clothes but more than half the clothes in there aren't cute. A lot of the items are extremely overpriced for what they are worth, a crappy pair of Nike leggings there were 35 dollars. I thought it was supposed to be a trendy thrift store but in reality it's overpriced and not worth going to. You'll find cheaper and a better selection of clothes at goodwill or savers.

Plato's is a bit like an upscale Saver's. It's a nice place to find gently used clothing. They had a nice variety of both women's and men's clothing, hats, footwear. There are changing rooms where you can try the clothing on. Yes, the prices are a bit more than you'll find at a thrift store, but Plato's is more of a consignment store. As a result, the clothing tends to be in slightly better condition.

People there were very nice, they checked up on my to make sure I didn't need a fitting room. They had 4x which is so hard to find thrifting, and they had a great sale so I got a bunch of nice clothes for a great price.

My Friend and I came to shop at Plato's Closet in Saint Cloud MN, we were treated with nothing but disrespect-workers with horrible attitudes-throwing and not folding our clothes when put in a bag-we both felt the it was a "chore" for them to access us a fitting room- and all around terrible service. I've never felt the need to write a review until I came to this place. Horrible Customer Service 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I was just there, and I had three hoodies and two pairs of jeans the 2 hoodies they took where so out of date my great grandma would wear. And there where designer (rock revival, and silver jeans that where worn once.) and they passed in it but they bought the crap that was out of the lost and found at school? That's messed up you won't be expecting me back anytime soon.

Sold name brand nice jeans some never worn , sold 3 only got 16 back?! They turn around and sell jeans for 12-22 dollars of the brands I got rid of. Half the times they take making one or two things so I guess it's better than nothing! Honestly wouldn't sell clothes to this store- VERY PICKY, shirts are almost impossible to sell to them as well. I found so many shirts with stains, and when other people try to sell to them the wonderful like is stains, wear and tear? It's a second hand clothes store of course there is wear! I have a very hard love hate for this place.

Easy, clean, competitively priced, nicely organized. There are a couple employees there that really standout as excellent! I can't remember their names but whenever I go in there they recognize me and are very welcoming! my daughters and I both love going here! Thank you!

I have shopped her in the past. Recently, I brought in clothing I had bought and never worn with the tags still attached or had worn once. I was only out of the store a few minutes and I had already received a text that my clothes were priced. When I came back in to pick up my clothes, the staff were very rude. I understand they can't take everything and simply could have stated that. Instead they proceeded to tell me my clothes were outdated, too worn, or had stains. Not only did they state everything that was wrong, they then proceeded to tell me to try Clothes Mentor for better luck. They were very rude and made me feel as if my brand new clothes were trash. I would not recommend selling your clothes there. It was not worth my time or effort and I will not be giving them any more business.
