Pizzeria Pezzo

Each time we go here the pizza is on point. I love that they offer dough to kids to play with while waiting for the order to come. To be honest I like playing with the dough myself. So my only recommendation would be to offer it to every table with or without kids. The ambiance is also nice and the bathrooms are trendy and clean.

The deep dish pizza at Petco is amazing. Very few places in Minnesota serve Chicago style pizza of this quality. We've always been impressed with the service. Several times have been comped, which is always welcome management seems to really care about their customers. If you like deep dish pizza, I highly recommend you give it a try.

We got the pera pizza and a shared appetizer of meatballs and a side salad. The meatballs were delicious but average. The pizza was really great and I would come back here again for it. The walnuts were crunchy and the balsamic added a good layer of flavor. They said 10 minute wait but the wait was a bit longer than that, and then we waited more for our food, so it's took maybe around 40 minutes from entering before we started eating. I wasn't too sure why they had a wait even though the restaurant was only around half full and the other tables never really got filled later in the night. Generally the place has the vibe of an elegant sports bar, in the sense that there are TVs playing in the background but the space is well-lit, clean, and located within a bougie grocery store.

I'm disappointed it took so long for me to eat here. Truly a crime of depriving myself of one of the coolest restaurants with amazing staff, delicious food, and a thoughtful menu that is not overloaded with unnecessary items. I encourage readers to look past a few things....- First the restaurant is attached to a grocery store. It wasn't a distraction or issue to us. You wouldn't be able to tell if you're eating inside or even on the patio. - Second the menu is not huge. You're not going to find countless pasta dishes, chicken parmigiana, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and so on. Personally I was more than happy with less options that are all done well. - Lastly the prices. Like anyone I looked up the menu beforehand and wondered why a deep dish pizza was in the $25 range. While some restaurants charge more to adjust for inflation, Pizzeria Pezzo stands behind their prices through their homemade food with simple, high quality ingredients. Now the things I encourage readers to look directly at...- The meatball appetizer. I ate them too quickly, resulting in a bad picture. Comes with focaccia and a salad large enough to split. Definitely order if you appreciate this type of thing. - Both the deep dish and coal fire pizza. We only tried deep dish, but our eyes wandered to nearby tables dining on the crispy thin. I can't imagine a world where it isn't great like the deep dish, but will confirm when I go back. - Cannolis! Get them. $9 for 3 huge cannolis. Splurge a little. You can always walk it off at Kowalski's afterwards. I really liked this restaurant. Good food, nice people. I hope you try it. Pro tip: They have a Groupon out there right now 7/6/23.

Great deep dish pizza! We enjoy The Wrigley as our deep dish of choice and we split a salad to go with it.

This is a cool place connected to the Kowalski's in Woodbury with a bar and tv, a lot of seating and a cool outdoor patio area. I have to say the service we received was great, especially how the server and manage went out of their way to introduce some new drinks that are coming next week. I asked for an N/A beer and our server told us that they have mocktails coming and brought me the new menu. I had a Berry Splash and it was super good. I also tried the N/A beer and it was better than most I have tried. We decided that when in Rome, we should get a deep dish pizza. We decided on The Wrigley and had tomato sauce, pepperoni and Italian sausage. It wasn't the best deep dish I have ever had, but was very filling and I thought the crust was baked perfect. Our server warned us it would take 45 minutes and actually only took about 35. There is a bar when you first walk in and has 1 tv for sports, etc.

I really wanted to love it here but the pizza fell short for me. I think it was under done maybe because the deep dish tasted doughy. We enjoyed our drinks and found this spot thanks to a killer Groupon. Shout out to the staff. Absolutely top notch. I think I'll give their thin pizza a shot next time.

If you're looking to wait 40 min for a lean cuisine pizza, look no further. They also don't have arugula anymore?! Punch pizza is a mile away. 100000% better than what pezzo is now.

Love the food, service, ambiance of Pezzo. The Greek salad and dressing is the best I've ever had. The pizza options are unique and really good. I highly recommend.
