Our High School ordered 45 pizzas after Friday night football game. They were able to accommodate that order. But the pizza was disgusting!!! I had 1 1/2 piece and decided not to try my luck with the rest. The only flavor I could taste was the sausage. The crust, sauce, and cheese was flavorless. Tostitos pizza has more flavor than that pizza. Also they charge us $10 for a pizza but during the game they were charging everyone $9 a slice. That seems to be way overpriced. I personally will never try this place again. Hopefully their restaurant is better than their food truck.

This review is for the FOOD TRUCK version of Pizza Barn only.Excellent pizza from a truck - 4 stars! This is the mobile food truck version of the Pizza Barn restaurant in Princeton. I found them at the Elm Creek Brewing Company in Champlin. The truck has a very limited menu compared to the bricks n' mortar restaurant. Basically, they offer several varieties of giant pizza slices and several hand-held desserts...nothing else from the full restaurant menu. The pizza was excellent. I ordered the "Cowpie" pizza. This one seems to be the Pizza Barn version of a deluxe or a supreme, loaded pizza. You can definitely taste the high grade cheese and the quality ingredients. And the slices are huge. They barely fit on a full sized paper dinner plate. The dessert was good too. Not great...but good. They call it a "Special K" bar but it seems to be a super dense rice crispy bar with chocolate frosting. The truck itself it pretty cool too. I like the color and the graphics. It really catches your eye.I only noticed 2 minor things that might need improvement. First, the dessert bar was cold and extra chewy. In fact, it was so chewy, it was hard to eat. Even my 130 pound dog chewed like crazy when I shared a chunk with her! It might help if the bars were brought to room temperature before passing them on to a customer. That's just a guess though, I'm not an expert.Second, the employee was continuously distracted and she didn't seem interested in being there - pretty unprofessional. I watched her while I ordered and for half an hour while I was eating my food....non-stop messing around on her phone. She didn't know any answers to basic questions I had about the food either. She seemed stumped when I asked her what the Special K bar was. Not knowing anything about them, I was guessing it might be a rice crispy type bar with Special K corn flakes...not true though. Some basic product knowledge would be nice.Overall, this food truck is excellent. And my criticisms are minor, not a big deal. I'd eat the food again any time.I definitely need to check out the restaurant in Princeton. I looked at the full menu and it looks incredible.Thumbs up!-Maxx

Pizza was below my expectations. The first pizza we got was a Mexican taco pizza. Way too much cheese. Couldn't even taste the flavors . Dough was not cooked well. Took pizza home couldn't even eat it. Second time order take out medium pizza sausage pepperoni and half mushroom. The sauce didn't even have a flavor. Couldn't even taste the pepperoni. Cheese, mushroom and sausage was ok. Still disappointing to say the least. Driver was courteous and pleasant.

It all started with a blogger on Twin Cities Live segment: 5 Best Pizza Places and Pizza Barn showcased their Cheese Curd Pizza. Before the show was over, I had a high school girlfriends date night/ road trip planned. Only 40 mins from the Twin Cities...an easy drive up 169. Us ladies are big MN State Fair people and cheese curds are a staple. We had to try it on a pizza! We went on a Sunday night, not long after they opened. Parking was ample. Walking in the door I was surprised to see if was a mall vestibule and not the actual restaurant. Their store front was slightly to the left. Lots of tables but not many to fit a large group. There was another large group there and they had all the tables smushed together, only booths left. However there was a big long bar that sat 10 so we took that. One side of the bar was inside the restaurant and the other side was in the mall vestibule. It was actually cool because it was unique seating. The deal of the day was buy 2 14" pizzas, get a free cheesy bread. So that's what we did. The cheesy bread had crispy edges while being soft bread. The marinara sauce was savory and worked well with the cheese. Pizza #1: The Barn. I love a good meat and veggie pizza. And this had tons of cheese melted gooey over the top. Our favorite, of course, was the Cheese Curd Pizza. Do you see a theme here? CHEESE! The curds were nice and salty. Looked like sausages because they got that hard broiled layer. The sauce was ranch...RANCH! And more cheese between the ranch and curds. I think we left in a cheese coma. Me and another gal ordered a CCP to-go so that our families who weren't invited could experience this. The server was friendly. We mentioned to her that we were from out of town and made a special trip to check them out. Soon enough, Jody, the owner came over to our table to chat with us. And we told her we saw TCL and heard about them on that guys blog. She took our picture before we left and posted it on their IG and FB sites. That same week we heard that a high school hockey podcast Pizza Barn sponsors talked about us. While we were talking with Jody, one of my friends said "If I were on death row, my last meal would be the cheese curd pizza." They made that line part of the marketing tagline. (And we all concurred.) So y'all need to get some friends who will get in the car and do a pizza roadtrip!

My wife and I recently moved to Princeton and decided to take our Grandchildren to the Pizza Barn. The food was good, service was great and establishment was clean. Good bang for your buck.

Great food and service. If you're wanting to have a party, they've got a party room. If you're just wanting to have a good night out, the main dinning area is decently lit and comfortable.

My son and I just happened to find this local family owned restaurant in downtown Princeton. It's located in a non assuming strip mall and clearly a hidden gem the locals may only know about. Their food truck was supposed to come serve our office complex today. They committed to the event knowing their truck was broken, thinking that they would still be able to show up. If there was any doubt, they should have cancelled before it was announced they'd be here this morning. An irresponsible lapse in judgement on their part, which in turn caused a letdown of several would-be customers. Come on now...
