Was so pleased with the fast, efficient and reasonable service that we received. In from out of town for a race and they really went above and beyond to help us out.

Terrible service. Brought 2 bikes in to be tuned up and minor repairs. Both took way to long and had worse problems after we picked them up. We were told we caused the problems. We didn't receive calls telling us there would be extra charges. The staff stated they tried to call but couldn't get through. Will never return here.

This is truly a family owned and operated shop where you feel your business is appreciated. They are very knowledgeable about their products and can discuss them without the air of superiority that you get in a lot of the local chains. They are willing to spend time with you to ensure you get the bike that best fits you and your needs without feeling pressure to buy more bike than you really want.

On 06/18/2013 we went to Pioneer Cycle at 12741 Central Ave NE in Blaine , MN 55434 and we tried to find Sarah a bike she could ride due to the fact that here bike was quite difficult to ride from the Lyme disease. Denise and her daughter helped us by bringing a bike out to the truck that they hoped Sarah could ride. While Denise stabilized the bike ( a Giant Simple ) myself and her daughter helped Sarah on the bike. Sarah did try to ride it in the parking lot but could not and Sarah told Denise we would take it home to see if she could ride it. Denise took our bike in on trade, a Giant Boulder, approximately a $500 bike which we purchased from Pioneer Cycle and gave us $100 in trade value. The next day Sarah tried riding the Simple at home and found that she could not only not pedal the bike ( likely due to the single gear ) but did not have the strength in her knees to break it ( it's the old fashioned push back on the pedals to brake ). Sarah said that her Boulder was actually much easier to ride due to the adjustable speeds and the hand breaking. I called the store back and Denise was not available and ended up speaking with an employee which was quite rude. Not only did he say they would "never" take the bike back and undo the transaction, but in the end he ended up hanging up on me. I called back an additional three times, all of which he disconnected the calls intentionally from his end. At this point I called US Bank and put a stop payment on the check that I had written due to how I was being treated and could tell that we were in for a battle. I did finally reach Denise the following day, June 20th, and she agreed to meet with me. On Sunday, June 23rd my 12 year old daughter, Celeste, and I went to Pioneer Cycle to meet with Denise and try to come to an amicablesolution. That day I told her I would like to get my wife's old bike back ( the boulder ) and undo the transaction. I told her I would pay the cancel check fee of $25 to her and would give her the Simple back. At that time she said she wanted to have the chance to speak to an attorney and to call me back on either Monday the 24th or Tuesday the 25th. During this conversation I made it quite clear that I had wanted to undo the transaction entirely and would make her whole by paying for the returned check fee that she would incur from me putting a stop payment on the check that I had written for the $283.87.Tuesday afternoon, the 25th, Denise did contact me and said she would undo the transaction and would like me to pay the cancel check fee and a restocking fee of up to 15%. I told her I would not pay that fee. She asked that I still come in and see if we could work something out. On Friday, June 28 at 5:30 pm my daughter Celeste and I took the Simple back to her to arrange a solution. I agreed to take my wife's Boulder back and to pay her the $25 cancel check fee and a $25 restocking fee. Once she took the Simple back, tried to give me $12 and change back and said she had sole my wife's Boulder. I was shocked. She said she had taken a $200 deposit on it and had it on hold for a new buyer. I told her to simply undo that transaction, give me a new boulder at her expense, or I would have to contact an attorney. She had a gentleman come out from in back and ask me to leave. In the end I left without the Simple, without my wife's Boulder and without any compensation for the Boulder that she has now supposedly sold. So, as a recap, they have the bike they tried selling us, they have either Sarah's bike, or the profit from selling Sarah's bike and we have nothing. It's as if they have stolen my wife's bike, and we now have nothing.

Friendly local service! Been going to them for years for ALL our bike needs, very knowledgeable. They have everything you could need and free tune ups on bikes purchased from them which is priceless! We don't even live near Blaine but are so glad we make the commute! We definitely recommend.

Was lucky to find an e-mtn bike here during the pandemic. Excellent service and they seemed to have more bikes in stock than most shops I've been to lately. I will definitely think of them for the next bike purchase.

Brought my cannondale into the schwinn dealer to get a new rim and a tune up done due to poor shifting. Troy told me he could strighten my rim and save me 50 bucks and the rim was perfect when he was done. He also noted the reason it would not shift was due to a broken part. He had one on the shelf replaced the part, adjusted everything. My bike is like new and everything he did was less than the rear rim i thought i needed. Including labor! Ready for a summer of riding and i saved money. Bonus!
