Ever since a friend first introduced me to this hidden gem, I've been returning to this delightful restaurant with great anticipation. It's nestled in a charming strip mall, making it feel cozy and inviting. After parking in the convenient lot, you walk through the entrance, and the ambience immediately captivates you. Artwork adorns the walls, and the soft, melodic tunes floating through the air set an incredibly soothing mood that promises a wonderful dining experience. On this particular visit, the service was exceptional, reaffirming my love for this place. The staff always makes you feel like family, greeting you with warm smiles and prompt attention, forging a welcoming atmosphere that truly enhances the meal. Normally, I can't resist ordering the pho, their broth is a revelation, rich and deeply flavored, far superior to the watered-down versions you often find elsewhere. However, in the spirit of adventure, I decided to shake things up this time.I opted for the sweet and sour chicken, while my girlfriend chose the curry beef. When the dishes arrived, I was instantly entranced by the vibrant colors and enticing aromas wafting from each plate. The sweet and sour chicken was a masterpiece: the chicken was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy within, without the heaviness of excessive oil. Each bite was a delight, and the accompanying rice had a light, fluffy texture that paired beautifully with the dish. The sauce was a burst of tangy sweetness, though I found it could use just a touch more seasoning, so I quickly remedied that with a drizzle of soy sauce, enhancing the flavors even further. Now, let me tell you about the curry beef. My girlfriend's dish was absolutely fabulous! The curry sauce was an explosion of flavors; rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, it enveloped the tender pieces of beef in a warming embrace. Each mouthful transported me to a culinary paradise, with the depth of spices dancing on my taste buds. It was a truly unforgettable experience that complemented my dish perfectly. As we shared bites and exchanged our thoughts, it became clear that this visit, like so many before, was nothing short of spectacular. Sitting there, surrounded by stunning decor and indulging in such delicious food, I felt grateful for this culinary haven that never fails to impress. I left with a satisfied palate and a promise to return soon, dreaming of the next extraordinary meal in this enchanting spot.

My son was told of a yummy Vietnamese restaurant we should try out, so that's what we did tonight. The restaurant had a lot of seating and a not a lot of ambiance. The service was good though. Their menu is huge, offering at least 100 items, with a nice description of eat item. The Egg Roll was a 2 star egg roll though. We have had so many egg rolls this year that trump these. The rest of the appetizers were also 2 star. My son really liked his Beef Curry. I normally don't like curry much, but also thought his dish was much better than mine. I had the Kung Pao Beef, which the presentation alone was off putting. It tasted ok though, but nothing that I will order again. Of all the Vietnamese restaurants we had tried in the past few months, this was our least favorite.

The pho broth is delicious and comes with such a generous serving. Service is quick and very friendly, and thank goodness for the ample seating. This place can get busy!

Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the north suburbs! They have a nice size dine In restaurant and always welcome to order takeout. Service is good and friendly, ambiance is casual and the food is amazing! I highly recommend the egg rolls and yes I think the are better than the competitors. We have tried many things on the menu but we keep going back to the hot n spicy beef, chicken low mein and chicken chow mein; also don't forget to choose your spice level as they are happy to accommodate from mild to super spicy. You will not be disappointed

Excellent thin wrap egg rolls. Great Vietnamese food choices from the second generation from their long running restaurant. We've been getting food from Pink Flower for more than 25 years.

The only way to get good service is if you're a regular. The egg rolls are great. Kung pao chicken was good. Chicken pho was good. So with that being said I probably won't ever dine in again. The one waitress working seemed nice but was kind of cold to us. I asked for fried rice in substitute for white and I got yellow rice. She said that's what you get when you sub it for the white rice. I wouldn't order the fried rice again. Very plain and not worth the up-charge. The atmosphere was eerily quiet and the chairs were very uncomfortable. The tables are also lower then expected. There aren't really any decorations other than two hanging fish in the entrance and a small wind chime by the door. Overall, not super welcoming.
