I have gone here quite a few times because I am one of the few film photographers left that needs their film processed and scanned. Previously, I had sent them through CVS and Walgreens to get scanned, but it takes 1-2 months due to CVS sending them to a third party scanner and then getting them sent back. Going to photo king, I can drop off my film and it will be ready for pick up in less than 12 hours! Typically 5! It's crazy how I went from waiting 2 months to less than a day. Photo kind also returns my negatives, which CVS did not. Not to mention it was double the price to develop a roll of film at CVS compared to Photo king. The man that works there is also so sweet and is always super helpful with what I need done.

For anyone looking to transfer their VHS's or 8m reel to reel on to a CD, please take them some place else. The owner is very money hungry and will give you a quote that will not even be close to what he will eventually charge you.He seems nice and accommodating when you get there, but don't you dare ask him any questions as to why the price went up 125% from his quote. He got so defensive and uncomfortable when he was asked why the price was so high.He told me he needed retirement money!

The owner of this place is so sweet and accommodating as well as professional. I had wedding photos printed here that I emailed to their company email. It was very slick and easy. Two of them I needed very quickly and he was so willing and helpful. They turned out great! I will definitely be coming back here.

okay so I love this place. this was a staple in my high school experience. Now, I live in Massachusetts, yet whenever I come home to visit, I bring my film with me to get It developed here, solely because it's so good. Owner and staff are so kind and the most helpful. When I first tried getting into film, I went to this store w a friend (already in film, he was going to get photos developed) owner literally gave me one of his old film cameras so I could try It out and learn the art of film without spending hundreds on a nice camera myself (especially being a broke kid). Could not say enough nice things about this place and the people that work here. Highly highly recommend.

Fabulous work in restoring old black and white and faded color photos. You won't be disappointed.

You're a scam artist and you know it. You already called my Mom offering to refund her $250 dollars rather than the $1,200 you OVER CHARGED HER! Shame on you, and buyers beware. Steve Duncan is a scam artist who will rip you off and give you low quality crap.Complete scam artists! The owner just makes up prices as he goes, there's no price points or reference to know if he's giving a fair and honest quote. Gave a quote and charged more than double when we picked up the final product. Has been nothing but rude, disrespectful as he laughed about charging what he did, and even sexist. Not to mention, his quality is crap. The DVDs don't even play on a PS4 and transferred terribly. Do not recommend at all! Shame on the owner, Steve.

I took some photo's in to get 'fixed'. They were old pictures that had creases, tears... Steve, the owner, did an outstanding job cleaning the pictures up and printing out new ones for me. There was NO way to tell where the creases and tears were. I also had him convert old family tapes (VHS) to dvd. It didn't take long and the quality was outstanding.

I've been a satisfied customer for years, but when Steve took on the job of putting over a hundred photos and coordinated music into our 50th anniversary celebration video, he went over the top. A great guy who always does a great job.

After an extremely bad experience trying to have photos restored at National Camera I was advised to go to Photo King in Wayzata. I wish I had saved time and frustration by going here to begin with. Within a couple days they had restored the old photos and turned out some fantastic quality reprints that I will be able to frame and enjoy. A little time and a little care - something you get from Photo King but NOT from National Camera (who, by the way, kept my money even though they "forgot to do" or ruined 50% of the original order).
