Unfortunately I was facing the kitchen and I could see the the gentleman cooking, handling raw food wiping his hands between each grab on a dirty towel he had hanging over his shoulder. He Never washed his hands once after handling different raw products and seemed to habitually wipe his hands on the towel with a mixture of raw products. I wonder how many people has this guy made sick, and is unaware of it?!? Clearly nobody has shown this fella healthy food preparation habits. If you value your health stay clear of here It could be better if he just practiced safer and better cooking industry standards. It's a nice looking small place

The pancakes and sausage links were delicious. It was a Saturday morning and the place was pretty full. The staff looked kinda frazzled but otherwise, great service.

My husband and I are on a Saturday drive. The ones were you pass through small towns along the backroads. While driving around Waseca we saw what we love, an old timey, local greasy spoon Pheasant Cafe. We were very excited, only for a minute! We saw an elderly couple go in, we thought "that's our place". We entered two minutes after the elderly couple, only to be informed they were closed. Yes of course, NO OUTSIDERS WELCOME AT PHEASANT CAFE. Don't even bother stopping. Head on down the road where your more welcomed for a hot cup of soup on a chilly day. Zero for Pheasant Cafe.
