A Family Favorite for Decades!We've been loyal patrons of Peking since it first opened in 1970, and it's still our go-to spot for delicious, comforting Chinese food. The service is always warm and friendly, and the quality of food is consistently amazing.Despite inflation, the prices remain surprisingly reasonable. The cream cheese wontons are unbeatable--packed with a generous amount of cream cheese and always crispy. Other favorites include the flavorful fried rice, mouthwatering egg rolls, beef Cantonese, and chop suey chow mein.We highly recommend this place and will continue to do so for years to come!Pro Tip: They only accept cash or checks, so be prepared!

Walked in, and we were cheerfully greeted. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. Had a decent sized menu. We ordered a couple of their combination meals. The chow mein was good, the fried rice did not have much flavor, the chicken wings were excellent, and the cheese won tons were greasy. Overall, a mixed dining experience. Definitely had worse but have also had better.

Roger is the best. Thank you for being such a great guy. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and it was better than expected.

Great service. Owners are friendly! Food is fresh, tasty and plentiful. Definitely a MUST anytime I travel to Minnesota. Love the chicken mushroom chow mein.

Currently Peking Cafe is take-out only. They are accepting cash and checks only (no credit cards). They are really busy with their take-out business, and they know their customers! I went in with my friend who had recently had a stroke....they politely asked about her health AND allowed us to sit in the dining room to eat. I don't really know that many places today that really care about their customers!

Great traditional Cantonese food. Loved the chow mein, lo mein, sesame chicken and fried rice. None of the food was greasy and it all had great flavor!

First of all, all of these idiots leaving reviews saying the wontons aren't good- y'all can take yourselves somewhere else. They are the best wontons in the Twin Cities. The food is fast, delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable. They haven't been in business for 45 years for nothing. Please, all you whiners go somewhere else so there's table space for myself and all of my friends.

47 years in the same location. They must be doing something right. Had not been back in over 20+ years since moving out west. It's still just as good as back in the day. Nice family owned place.
