Small towns are great. Especially with a great meat market! We were playing tourist in our own state and were drawn in by the delicious smell! It is a small, but clean establishment. The lady that waited on us was really nice. We were able to sample the salamies before we made our purchase. We also bought some brats that were wonderuful. Definitely will be making our way back to Jordan to stop in here.

I can't really put into words how incredible this meat market is. It's the only one I want to go to & drive a long way to go pick up quality, delectable meats. I used to have their products shipped to Seattle because it's impossible to find the same delicious cuts & mix sausage recipes anywhere. Believe me I've tried. I'm 34yrs old and am still addicted to their products.1. Summer sausage... I won't eat it from anywhere else. It's incredible!!! (I've eaten a whole stick with my partner in under 30 hours, and they are like 2 1/2ft long & 4 1/2 inches thick.2. Fresh pork links... the best product out there!3. Fresh rope sausage... same thing, bigger casing.4. Smoked pork links... not as good as the Fresh but they are still delicious and last longer.5. Smoked rope sausage... see the pattern?6. Weiners... there is something incredible and so different about their hot dogs.7. Jalapeño summer sausage... when side by side I prefer the original summer sausage (#1) but this is delicious all on its own. 8. Bologna... seriously won't eat it from anywhere else.9. ......I can go on and on and on. Great pork chops. Great bacon. The pork products are so good that I uncharacteristically skip the beef products. YOU WONT REGRET FOLLOWING MY ADVICE LIST!!

If you know about it, then I don't have to say a word...but if you are visiting or passing through Jordan it's a must stop. Grab a dozen weiners and throw them on the grill. Always the guest quality meats. They will butcher your deer or anything else also. It's the part of Jordan I miss the most. Qty 8, 1" thick chops, $20.00. I'll take that any day.

We were headed to Jordan for a baseball game and I called to inquire if they had dog bones. They replied we have beef bones for dogs and they gave me one for free. They don't butcher dogs thankfully. They are open Friday until 8 so that was nice. I bought beef and cheddar beef sticks that were good. I purchased golden maple breakfast links that would you believe they taste like Kramarchuks but a lot cheaper, super good. I noticed these bacon wrapped chicken breasts and bought a Hawaiian flavored one with cheese and pineapple and a gourmet flavored one with cheese. These you put in the oven for an hour. OMG so moist, big and flavorful. Not dry at all. These could look very impressive at your next dinner party. I also found Kolakys from Franke Bakery in Montgomery. Service was good and meat top quality. Too bad they are over 30 minutes away. Support local family run businesses.

My boyfriend is from Jordan, MN, and as a transplant to the Twin Cities area (I am originally from New York) I was unfamiliar with Pekarna's until he introduced me to it. I simply cannot overstate how amazing this meat is. Try to imagine the most delicious, freshest, locally grown meat you've ever had. Times ten. I could eat Pekarna's thick, fresh, incredible marinated pork chops every day. It is well worth the drive to Jordan from the Twin Cities to try this market. The marinated meat is heavenly, and their Italian sausage (both in links and sold in bulk) are the best I've ever tasted outside New York.

Love there products. But they do not follow CDC guidelines. I will find a different business to support.

I was heading to the candy store but wanted some breakfast before manning that zoo. After food, I hit up this and a few of the antique stores nearby. I'm very happy for that I had this detour as the pepper beef jerky is some of the best I've had--right up there with the string jerky from Mackenthun in St. Boni. I also got the spicy and regular beef sticks and some almond flavored whipped honey. The beef sticks were good but pretty standard/comparable to others. I'd get them again but only bc I'm here for the jerky. The honey was good but the seal on it wasn't really attached so I was weirded out and am not sure I'll finish it. It had a nice light consistency with mild flavoring but I just felt like it was previously opened. The ppl behind the counter seemed to be super friendly and the guy helping me went back to get me frozen packages since my products were going to be in the car for awhile. The only slight constructive criticism is these are packed in larger packages. My order of one package of jerky, 2 stick packages and the honey was $52.
