Fabulous! The food was amazing, traditional home cooking. A rare gem. And, our table server knows how to hustle yet make everyone feel welcomed and at home. Thanks Pease Cafe!

Alas, today no one greeted us other than a "busy and to-the-point" server. No small talk. Ordered eggs & raisin toast which were tasty but really, how can you go wrong with eggs and toast? The meal also came with a surprise hunk of banana bread, or at least I think that's what it was. It was good but odd, especially with no explanation or small talk. All in all the restaurant would be a fairly good place to eat but for a simple $16 breakfast ($3 tip), I wish it were more enchanting. It's also the only sit-down restaurant near the town of Milaca which is 5 miles north. P.S. my husband and I are also 100% Dutch from a small town in Minnesota so we were hoping for a great food & experience.

Little cafe just off of highway 169 south of Milaca. Head into downtown Pease and find this hidden gem to the left after the windmill park. Delicious homemade food and PIE. Great local spot to stop on your way north with some local flavor. Ordered just a sandwich and soup...the taste of homemade cooking made this simple lunch extraordinary! My husband ordered chicken drummies and he had the same reaction...why does this taste SO GOOD?! Strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert also had that special and RARE homemade taste! Highly recommended.

Cute place with delicious pot roast & Ruben. We were in Milaca and asked for a place to eat. Feels like you are eating at Grandma's house. Will stop again!
