Party Safari

I was helped last minute for my birthday balloons. I told her what I wanted over the phone, she had them ready when I arrived. The number balloons are huge, well designed, and inflated to last. They cost $25.99 a piece. The string beautifully arranged, and she took great care of putting them in plastic, even giving me easy directions to get to the restaurant on the lake. There was a lot of inventory in a small little store.Located in shopping center.Parking lot available.

I was harassed for being a trans person.I asked the salesperson if I could get a balloon for curbside pickup. I began to give her my card information when she says "you do not sound like that name sweetheart" I told her I am actually transgender, which i never tell people in public because it's not anyones business. She kept repeating I am not who I was telling her I was. I told her again, I am transgender and that she is making me uncomfortable then she hung up. Not that many places in Wayzata Minnesota have reputations for treating the LGBT population well, but its pride month and its 2020. Its a party store and gay people like to party. Places like this really need to catch up and educate themselves.

Was looking for a balloon bouquet to celebrate my sister-in-law selling her house. I considered using an online balloon delivery but changed my mind deciding to go local. I called Party Safari. I believe it was Chelsea who asked me a few questions to better understand who would get the bouquet (personalizing it) and what I wanted. Within a couple hours I had a rocking cluster of balloons enclosed in a big bag within my hands. And it was much more affordable than the balloon delivery alternative. I give Party Safari a big thumbs up and a big thank you. I'll be back!

Love this store so much. They have a huge selection of party supplies including all the colors of the rainbow in paper supplies. I especially love their birthday hats.

I try to support local business when I can, but we were treated so rudely at this establishment that I'll be going to Party City from here on out.Stopped in the day before a bridal shower to look for some table decorations. A heavy-set middle-aged woman was working the counter. We asked for suggestions for place setting decor that fit our color scheme and she said she didn't really carry anything purple. Browsing through the store, we found several options and made our selection. There was no price marked. The woman working did not respond when we politely asked for the price. We got it from another customer who had already checked out with the same item.We thanked the employee at the end of the transaction. She never made eye contact with us and did not reapond at all. On the way out the door, I mentioned that she could perhaps acknowledge that we'd thanked her. Turning her back, she snipped, "Bye."I'll take my money somewhere I'm not bothering the employees by supporting the business.

I was charged almost $100 for 9 balloons, didn't communicate properly or give a receipt...when we called, the owner was just terrible. I've never had such awful customer service (and I'm in the service industry) so safe to say we won't be going there again, I'd advise you to go to party city.

Best place ever. Very beautiful arrangement. Very nice and kind personal. Always on time.

I have purchased balloons from this business on several occasions without incident. Today I was just in to ask a quick question. When the African American sales associate started answering my question the owner (I asked and she proudly said "I am!") rudely interrupted our conversation and said angrily "are you helping her as a customer or as a friend?". Because I am also African American she assumed we were there chatting as opposed to transacting business during a busy time. She embarrassed her staff as well as lost a customer forever. "Owner" you are in desperate need of diversity and inclusion training. Get a clue.
