The food is the attraction here. Will you have a white table cloth or server in a chef's jacket who scrapes the crumbs from the table? No. Will your torta and fries be red hot and big enough for a landscaper's lunch break? Yes.Laid back place, great food, spicy salsa, and authentic continental Mexican food. Great for families, too.

Stopped in at Poncho's in Circle Pines on the way to Duluth and had a very good meal. The restaurant is bright and colorful, the service was great, and the food was on point. Handmade corn tortillas made all the difference and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Highly recommend the Molotes (Deep fried masa empanadas filled with chipotle chicken then topped with cilantro, sour cream, and cotija).

Excited to be back in the area, we brought some friends to try Pancho's. We were all super pleased with the restaurant - good service and food. The staff is welcoming, promptly treat you, and are fun to talk to. I tried some tacos and a tamal today. Very good! With tamales I am usually worried about them being under filled - but this had plenty of filling! Very delicious.

I really like this place and stop in for lunch whenever I'm in Blaine.The chips and salsa are good and I really love the queso and chorizo as an appetizer.Pretty much all of their entrees are good but the quesabirriria is awesome. For a casual Mexican restaurant I highly recommend Pamchos.

I had a hankering for some Mexican breakfast so decided to check this place out. I had huevos rancheros that were SO GOOD and the sauce was actually spicy and flavorful! And the BEST refried beans I have ever had!! They are one of the few (Maybe only) places I've seen legit breakfast tacos in the twin cities so I've been meaning to try those. Why are there not more breakfast tacos???One gripe is that a lot of the (breakfast) dishes do not include/aren't priced with meat. Its likely just a mental thing with me that I hate having to "upgrade" my meal. Also, the abuelita pancakes look amazing!!!

An upgrade over previous BBQ restaurant in the same location. I had lunch there. Ordered a tamale + couple of street tacos . Everything was flavorful. Will definitely go back again.

Absolutely love Pancho's their meals are so good and fulfilling. I tried their nachos as an appetizer and I ended up having to take my entree home because their appetizers are so fulfilling. But I have now made their nachos my to go to meal!

I was in the area and decided to try this New Mexican restaurant. The restaurant is small but brightly lit and very clean. I was greeted right away by a friendly young woman. She explained the menu to me and made some suggestions. I ordered the Quesabirria. I don't know what it is, but it was very good! The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because Pancho's did not serve any chips with my meal. Chips and salsa were an extra $3.Otherwise, I would recommend and return!

Really the best food of any kind that we've found in our little "three corners" area (Blaine, Lexington, Circle Pines). The basics like the chips, refried beans and rice are so good I can make a meal out of them alone. Birria and Poole are especially recommended. The restaurant is plain but very clean, service is good. We usually get take out since we live so close, and our only complaint is for takeout there are often minor errors in sides and sauces.
