Outpost

Got this place recommended by a local. We had originally gone elsewhere however they were closed and this gentleman in the parking lot when we were leaving suggested it. I have to say I was not too keen on going to a bar and tavern for breakfast but I was hungry!! It was 10 am and the place was relatively busy. The server greeted us pretty much as soon as we sat down. A very warm and welcoming gentleman. He offered us drinks while we perused the menu. Hot and delicious coffee arrived almost immediately. He took our order shortly thereafter. Once the food arrived we were very impressed by the amount of food. We both had the "everything skillet" and fried eggs. Eggs were perfectly executed and the ingredients of the skillet were fresh and plentiful. The server was attentive and filled cups without being asked, but not annoyingly over attentive. We enjoyed all of it and plan to visit here again.

I am finding myself at Outpost more and more frequently and for good reason. From the second I walk in I'm instantly whisked away to a up north country lodge vibe. A bar/restaurant filled with blue collared regulars catching the game, jammed to some tunes, and drowning their sorrows with some good ol' fashioned bar fare. The service has always been excellent. Wait staff and bartenders all friendly and inviting. Small town, local bars can I often be somewhat intimidating but Outpost makes everyone feel at home. Daily specials and more than reasonable happy hour makes it easy to indulge without hurting your wallet. Daily features include half priced burgers on Tuesday and half priced wings on Thursday, to name a couple. And happy hour, runs until 7:00! I've enjoyed a number of items on the menu and have been disappointed by anything. The wings are some of the best I've had. Burger is what you would expect from a small town country bar, pretty damn good. Pizza, probably could be better but not bad for sharing. This is a spot I will return to again and again. I also strongly recommend.

Cannot recommend enough! In town for fun and was pointed this direction for breakfast. The southwest hash browns were legit but the service was even better! We had four guys who might have stayed up a bit late the night before and we were revived here!!!

Tons of pull tabs to play. The food is amazing. Recently stopped for some wings and could not get over how awesome they were cooked. The flavors were good. My buddy and I agreed the Diablo was our favorite. There's a lot to love here which is probably why it's so popular. I've been here many times with my Aunt and Grandma, and their pizza is also top notch. Would love to give it a 4.5 rating but, that's not how Yelp works. With the pricing, average building, and lack of tap selection it's a solid 4. However, I'll definitely be returning.

This is probably more like a 3.5 star, as I am a huge proponent of wings and the Outpost has a good selection of flavors! They aren't standout, best in class... but they're sizable with plenty of choices and get the job done.More of a wing and beer while watching the game type place, but nothing wrong with that!

Ok want a fun casual bar and a nice dinner to boot? Play some pull tabs and maybe catch some music? Great atmosphere and very casual! Jimmy the owner is the best as they come and this place - although crazy construction on hwy 10- you can get there easily from the west end !

Okay well as you see I rated this 4 stars and there is multiple reasons for that. I rated this lower but really it's a 4.5. And that's only because the noise... whenever I go eat there it is so unbelievably loud and I can't hear anyone talking to me so unless you go there in the morning it is really loud. But other than that the food is great and especially the breakfast food the Service is great and the waiters are really friendly one waitresses name is Mickey and she is like a family friend at this point so if you go there in the morning there is a 40% chance you will get her. Their boneless wings with garlic sauce are second to none. We have lived near here for years and just tried it. So good.

Arrived 10:45, crabby lazy barmaid approaches us at 10:55 and says breakfast was. over 15 mins earlier. Make sure to get there early and don't sit at the bar. Fat Nats in Brooklyn Center was greeted with a smile, served coffee and ordered within 5 mins. BTW it is very busy here.

I really wanted to like this place. Cool vibe and not a lot of options in Ramsey. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast and they served my wife the wrong eggs. They replaced them,No big deal, I'll give them another shot. So, next time they burned the bacon. Breakfast shouldn't be that hard.
