This hidden gem is one of my favorite spots to meet friends and let the kiddos play! The playground seems new, and has a little mini one for toddlers and babies. Lots of trails to explore, right next to the water! I've seen people fishing as well. There are lots of picnic benches and large covered areas for bigger gatherings! We've attending a kid's birthday party here and it was perfect.

aka Wright County-Otsego Regional Park. The Otsego city official website states that it is open May to October but many (including me) use the park year round. It is a 70 acre park along the Mississippi River, offering picnic areas, paved trails, prairie restoration area, volleyball area, canoe access (but it is a little difficult here-some portage), playground with a handicapped accessible play area. Parking lot is available off of 96th St NE.

I grew up going to this park and it is a treasure. One side of the park boarders the Mississippi River. This park has had many upgrades over the years. They have newer restrooms that I consider nice for park restrooms. Some of the nice things this park offers are an updated playground, open field for playing or picnicking, a sand volleyball court, paved trails great for walking, rollerblading, or bicycling. The paved trail has multiple benches overlooking the river. Often I see people fishing from the shoreline. This park is very well maintained. The groundskeeper has this place looking beautiful always.
