Osaka Sushi & Hibachi

Osaka Hibachi Grill is quickly becoming one of my regular spots I've been here 3 times already, and all 3 times have been great. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes out in a timely fashion.I always order the eel and avocado roll, which is consistently good. This time, I tried a few new things-the shrimp tempura, crunch roll, scorpion roll, hibachi fried rice, and miso soup-and everything was delicious! The rolls were fresh and well-made, the fried rice had great flavor, and the miso soup was a perfect start to the meal.The martinis here are also a nice surprise-pretty good and very reasonably priced. I tried their version of an espresso martini, the mocha martini, and for only $7.50, it was a great deal!Overall, Osaka is a solid choice for sushi, hibachi, and drinks. Great food, family friendly ambiance, good prices, and fast service.

I'm bumping these guys up a star - 4 stars.I can't believe it's been 9 years since I've eaten here! I went back and I have a new appreciation for Osaka. We ordered soup and a bunch of sushi rolls. It was really good. And the service was great. The prices weren't bad either.The sushi seating area with booths are up front and it's a pretty small spot. (Plus they have a sushi bar.) Most of the restaurant is dedicated to hibachi, and that seems to be where all the action is. As we ate on the sushi side, we could hear all kinds of laughing, singing, and food frying on the hot tables...birthdays & parties. It sounds like WAY more fun on the hibachi side!This isn't a chef run, fancy place. It's a chain. But for what they do, I feel they do a good job.Thanks, Osaka!-Maxx

The fried rice was not fried all the way lots of just white rice and the steak was pretty tough. I do like their yum yum sauce and very friendly staff. Odd set up much different than benihana. Tasty in not the highest quality way.

Fun night out with my bride. We loved the flavorful food and hope to return for the Hibachi grill with our whole family.

We had a GREAT time. Went on a Monday for dinner with a Groupon, which they accepted right away. We were seated quickly. Everything tasted great and the staff was so friendly. Our waitress said she loved working there and as a customer, you always want to hear that employees are happy being there.What was unfortunate was that while we were there, we saw TWO groups dine and dash. Just awful, made a scene and everything. The restaurant did nothing wrong and were completely taken advantage of. It was sad. I tipped extra to help a little, and would love go back and support their business, especially after such an awful time for the restaurant industry. The staff was very professional about the situation. I think I was more dramatic about it than they were. I want to give a shout to our waitress. She was awesome and so on top of it. She was very friendly and professional, it really impressed me. She said she worked at the Eden Prairie location and drove quite a ways to get to work. Whatever her name is, she's awesome!

I went to celebrate my friend's birthday and the hibachi is always fun! The guy cooking the food and doing the show is Mexican and he was able to talk in Spanish with us. The kids had fun and the food was good. I didn't like that they charged extra for the fry rice. The hibachi includes white rice but fry rice is extra.

Location: Plenty of parking.Inside: Festive and fun hibachi experience Great service. They take good care of you. Saki shots for the adults and lemonade shots for the kids. Fun for everyone!Food: lobster, shrimp, red snapper (new option for me) steaks a plenty.If you've never been, you have to try it.

We made and conformed a reservation for a family dinner. Completely pointless, as they didn't actually reserve a table for us and made us wait like everyone else. So far we are at 30 mins past our reservation time, and still waiting. Will update if we ever get seated.Update:Ok, talked with a manager and they seated us about 40 mins after our reservation time. I'm updating to reflect that the food was decent and the hibachi chef was reasonably entertaining.

Rude cook whose only joke was to make fun of my age all through dinner. I get they are trying to entertain, but it was the only joke and the digs became meaner and meaner. I will never go again.

Food at this hibachi was very good, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would say this is the best service I've had at a hibachi joint. We ordered a sushi roll and hibachi dinners. Both were very good. I would recommend this place who enjoys hibachi
