We opted out of hibachi because it was just the two of us we didn't need the full experience. The dining room has mostly booth seating. Delicious food. Very cost effective if you order sides. Meats were $13ish while the other vegetable or rice sides were more like $4 The service was welcoming and we were greeted quickly. Our waitress was very helpful in the questions we had. I would not put it in the same caliber of other very popular chains like Benihana. The appearance looks well loved and worn.

Don't judge a book by its covers! This spot didn't look like anything special from the outside and boy was I surprised?? Dinners should all be this fun, our hibachi chef put on a show! The food was all tasty, loved the filet mignon cubes, tender and juicy. Noodles and rice were slightly on the salty side but still tasty. The portions were also HUGE, so I had too much leftover. Sushi was also delicious. Price for hibachi was also pretty reasonable/affordable. Love sharing spots that are a hole in the wall.

Teppanyaki places can get a bad rap because the nature of the place, but Osaka has been unduly judged in the past. We have been here a few times and while it is not a "fine dining" establishment it provides a fun atmosphere, some delicious food and a place where a group or large family can really have a great time. Sure it could have a cleaner floor and a little better service from the wait staff, but the chefs and the food are consistently good and the accommodations for kids (or grandkids) is great. Give it a try!
