Okay as an "out of towner" what could I possibly offer to this wonderful little small town secret. Well all my friends live here.Elk River, oh yah, sure you betcha. So yah, on my way up north, had to stop.So glad I did. #7 Haystack or something just like that breakfast appealed to me, a pure100% Country Girl raised on a farm played in many a haystack and ate plenty of B&G. It's good solid diner food with good portions, and well priced. The desserts are varied with some surprises. They advertise fresh sarcasm, but they don't really lean into it. If you're in Elk River, it's worth a stop.

If you're looking for a great spot for breakfast in the Elk River area, this is the place to go. I've been here several times in the past and the quality, service and consistency of the food is always above average. It's a cool old building right on the Main Street. I had the "Minnesota Platter" which was very good and the service was excellent, as usual. I will be back!

A classic that has been around and in the heart of downtown Elk River. I always enjoy having breakfast here. Great prices, delicious every time. Pancakes and breakfast sandwiches are what I gravitate towards. Their Carmel rolls are It's a great place to take the whole family and the waitresses are so friendly. Can't wait to be back

When you walk in the aesthetics, there is very pleasing natural brick walls, old pictures hanging on the wall, booth, and table seating, very clean, smelling prompt service great prices, and looking forward to enjoying a good meal here.

We really liked this restaurant. It was bright and clean. We were waited on right away by a friendly server. I couldn't resist ordering a salad from the summer menu and my husband got a Cajun chicken wrap. We were both extremely pleased with our choices. My salad was fresh, light and crunchy with dressing I could add myself. I didn't need 2 but if you like lots of dressing it was available. My husband said his wrap and the slaw were both good. We got our food quickly. We would definitely go back and I recommend the summer menu choices.

Always enjoy this place for breakfast. The service is wonderful and your coffee cup will never be empty. Great food and great vibe in it. Lots of seating and the food is wonderful. Would highly recommend this place.

Amazing food and service! I love their wild rice soup. I had the wild rice eggs Benedict and that was amazing!! Breakfast food is what I always get when I'm there and it is always amazing!! Only improvement would be that they extend their hours so I can come more often
