We came to off the rails prior to a show at the armory next door as it came highly recommended. Upon walking in the entire establishment is seat yourself and then a server comes to you with drink and food menus. We ordered the birria tacos to share because I was super hungry and it was a very large portion. One taco is huge and I ate maybe half and was super full. The tacos have seasoned beef roast and short ribs, slow roasted in a rich adobe sauce. 3 tacos built with onions, cilantro and chihuahua cheese. Fried to perfection in a 6' corn tortilla and served with consume for dipping. All for only $12.95 which is a bargain! The inside is very industrial almost reminds me of a brewery.

Honestly, I didn't love this place the first time I visited in 2023. Things took a positive turn in the summer of 2024. Great drinks, that are well priced and even a bit creative. Served quickly and efficiently with an amazing view of the stadium as well as downtown East's coolest park. The vibe is great on a nice day either way a great outdoor patio. The food is solid .. sliders and fried cheese curds. Love the sandwiches also. Yes, it's basic and delicious . Servers are pleasant and a bit slow. Great place to park before a giants game or a concert.

Sat here for 10 min, finally got service and waiting another 15 min for our simple beers then nothing...went to the bar to see if service was quicker, gave it another 5 min and left. Closest place to stadium and venues but horrible horrible service.

This was my first time in this establishment. And was invited for a work happy hour. As you approach the establishment you will see a large area of umbrellas along with a bar done I'm a modern open concept. The bar was well lit and not hot inside. The beer was ice cold and lthe food was delicious. The service was second to none and made sure we had a great time..

This was quaint little spot tucked away in Minneapolis that we stumbled upon. Very nice ambiance, bartender was a really sweet older lady taking care of the bar patrons and everyone in the dining room. Drinks were really good and the tator tots were crispy and tasty. In fact we ate them so fast I didn't get a picture. The visit was short for us because we had to pick up our son as he was there for a football combine. Wish we could have stayed longer the music was good also.

Not fully staffed for the lunch hour. Never received drinks, waited too long for food and needed to take it to-go.

Stopped in here for lunch since most of the stores and food stands in the skyway near Wells Fargo buildings are closed. First, the barmaid served me in a booth. Great attention and service. Made me feel welcome.Menu was burgers, salads, soup of the day (chili) and sandwiches. Not much in selection and wasn't in a burger mood.Selected the club sandwich on a toasted bread. Came with potato chips. Fries were an additional $1.50 more. Have to say the club sandwich was one of the better clubs I've had in a long time. Good amount of meats and bacon slices. I loved my sandwich. Chips were ok but I don't do many chips anymore. Will have to try them again one day.

Had the Bang Bang Shrimp and...it was missing a Bang. I ordered this dish thinking it would be spicy, given the name. The shrimp were cooked right and the batter was crispy but it lacked the spicy part. Maybe because it's downtown and the patrons are mostly non-spicy food consumers, but it lacked that kick I was hoping for.It came with some celery, wilted (probably 3 day old) pieces. As I picked up the rubbery pieces they just felt as if they were cut a few days ago and left out on the cutting table. The blue cheese dip was too watery as well. It didn't have the chunks I'm used to having in it. Maybe a second time will better.

Avoid this establishment at all costs. Do you like asking for a wet rag to clean your dirty table because nobody will acknowledge your group? Do you like waiting 45 minutes for a server to ask what you want to drink? Do you like drinking $8 beers out of a plastic cup? If so, then come on down to Off the Rails! This place is a disaster. The ambiance is sub par, several dirty tables that haven't been bussed, you're practically dining at frat house. Our "server" looked like she just got off a 3 day bender and was completely confused as to what her job task entailed. The table next to us had the same issues and both parties agreed this place is a circus. Long story short: don't go here.

If a customer orders something your out of, have the server tell them. Don't just leave it out. This should obvious. Also, the kitchen told the server that they did not smash the 1/2 pound burgers, so I ordered one. It was smashed. It was about 3x the diameter of the bun. I sent it back but they're probably going to spit in it.
