Nuthouse Breads

The ambiance and location are excellent. However, after checking out the pastries and pies and discussing the owner's residential electric oven setup, we did some research. As experienced foodies, we've concluded that the baked goods are not made on-site but are most likely purchased wholesale as ready-to-bake frozen pastries, which are then baked at the shop. We'll continue supporting Crosshatch and Chattering Squirrel, as we prefer our pastries to be made from scratch rather than mass-produced.

We discovered this bakery while driving through town. It took a trip around the block to get back to it. It was totally worth the stop. We got one of the peach turnovers which was very good. I really liked that we could buy a half loaf of bread. Good option. The Wildrice Cranberry Sourdough bread was really tasty. We also got a loaf of pumpkin bread that was frozen. We thawed it out and really enjoyed it, also. This is definitely going to be a must stop when we go through this area.

What a wonderful addition to Siren!!! As a resident in the area, I cannot be more thrilled to have the Nuthouse Bakery!! The sourdough of so many kind, is fresh and so good!!! I plan on trying them all!! The pastries just melt in your mouth!! My fav is the personal apple pie!!! A must try!! The service is wonderful and everyone is so pleasant and helpful!! Very clean and such a cute lil store!! Great prices!! Very fair!!!

Great breads, pastries, and granolas!Even the day olds are delicious. An absolute must stop in Siren!

Bought a loaf of blueberry vanilla sourdough bread and a blueberry pie. Both were excellent. I wish I had purchased more items! I was just passing through town. It will be a definite stop again for me.
