Not Justa Cafe

We came here for a girls morning brunch and it was delightful. The service was fast, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for friends and family to get together.We were seated quickly, our food came out hot and fresh and was super fast but never rushed. I got a breakfast mess and the hash browns were seasoned and crispy, the eggs hot and yummy with some cheese. I will definitely keep it in mind for future visits!

Plus, the Bayport location has a bar and a catering business.GOOD:1. The food is good. This isn't chef made stuff. The chow is mostly basic small town café fare with a few unique twists and some humorous names.2. You can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner - anything on the menu - at any time. Nice!3. Prices are super reasonable. A meal here won't bust your budget.4. The food comes out SUPER fast!5. The service is fast and cheery, lots of smiles and jokes.NEEDS IMPROVEMENT:1. Our server made a bunch of mistakes. Mostly, she forgot things, despite the fact that there was only one other table in her area and she wrote everything down. For example, she forgot one of our coffees (but she remembered the other one), she forgot the Irish Cream creamer, she forgot the peanut butter for the English Muffin, she forgot the whipped cream on one of our two desserts (but she remembered the other one), and last but not least, she forgot a spoon for the ice cream and she brought a fork instead. What???2. The desserts (apple crisp & blueberry pie) were supposed to be warmed up but only one (the pie) was warmed up. Why would you ask if you want it warmed up and then NOT do it? My friend sent his crisp back for some heat but it was still cold when it came back the second time. If you can't push the right buttons on a microwave, you have a problem.3. We got a new server halfway through our meal. But there was ZERO communication between them. She asked the same darn questions over again. Silly.4. All of this service stuff is easily fixed and a matter or training & management. No big deal. Still, it happened and it was a little frustrating. If they cut down on all of the silly screw-ups, I'd call them 4 stars.5. As a side note, I asked 3 of the employees what was going on with Pete's Pizza, if they're still open, etc. None of them knew anything. I don't understand how people can be so completely clueless about what's happening with another restaurant only a block or two away. I drove there after lunch and I got an answer in less than a minute. And I don't even live on New Richmond. I live over an hour away. Weird.Overall, a positive experience.-Daddy Maxx Retro

Thoroughly enjoyable eating experience. Great spot to relax, connect and refuel. The giggles at the signs were a bonus ;) the corned beef hash is legit and actually is homemade...woohoo!

Normally I would always make my reviews based on the food first, however, it was only 20° outside which is not uncommon in the winter and this place was freezing inside. Everyone was sitting with their jackets and stocking caps on. How can you possibly enjoy breakfast when you're freezing your a** off. Otherwise, the staff was great but the food was just very average for breakfast. I had a meat lover's omelette, French toast and coffee all of which were very blah, fine but blah. I wouldn't come back here even if the dining room was at a survivable temperature. I can't wait to get to my car and warm up.

After a rained out golf game, we called to see if they could accommodate 18 us. Yes. We arrived to a set up table and a very nice waitress. She was quick to get coffee, water, juice and other beverages. Although the kitchen must have been a bit overwhelmed, the food came out quickly and all were quite impressed. Large portions and very well prepared breakfasts were devoured and made for a happy crowd. Reasonable prices and a great waitress - who was working on her birthday. All around satisfaction.

We did it again, drove to New Richmond for a wonderful breakfast at Not Justa Cafe. The drive was well worth it, our breakfast was good as usual and we left there ready to take on the rest of the day. Stephy was our waitress and did a very nice job of taking care of us. You can be sure we wil be back there again, the sooner the better.

Absolutely awful meal. never had any trouble there before. no manager on duty, they didn't seem too concerned about my meal.​

I have eaten at Not Justa cafe in Somerset and New Richmond. Both are great. Food is like home cooking or better. Staff are amazing. Love the set up. Ambiance is great. Meatloaf was as good as any I've ever had. Green beans were fresh didn't taste frozen. Chicken fried steak awesome. Breakfast is amazing. Have never had a bad meal or bad service.

Great food, great service, and good value. Always a friendly smile and tasty entree's breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great place to eat friendly waitress and large portions of food. And great pies.large sitting area . Reasonable pricing.
