I order from this store online all the time. I live 9 hours away so when I found out I was coming through town, I of course wanted to finally visit in person. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great of a time. :( All beads and supplies are behind the counter. It's awkward just standing there waiting for help. When I was finally helped by the woman working.. I realized she was kinda rude. If you are going to have beads behind the counter then you should expect to be helping people! The employees also seemed like they were bickering and it was uncomfortable to just stand there. It's not worth visiting in person.. I think just stick to ordering online if you can.

I stood at the counter while a person was working behind it facing me for about 5 solid minutes before he muttered, "I'll be right with you." Then another 2 minutes and all I needed was a price on an item behind him. Then he leaves the counter and doesn't return. I wait for the other shop keeper to finish at the other counter and approach her for help at the initial counter. This took about 8 minutes of waiting but she did help me. When I'm ready to be rung up they are having trouble with their card reader and I'm having trouble with my Apple Pay. I have about $130 dollars of merch that I want to buy. I try to figure it out and ask her to set aside my things so I can go to where there is wifi to fix my Apple Pay (at cafe nearby) and when I return to pay she has a line of 3 people who are technically behind me but are now ahead of me. We were mid transaction so I understand finishing up with the lady she already started ringing up but considering all the waiting please finish up with me before you go on with the rest of the line. Don't make me stand in line all over again. Well she did make me wait for the line to be rung up. Another 10 minutes. I took two of the things because I really needed them and my total was $12. Could have spent a lot more if they had been kore considerate of customers time.

Best Native American gift store in the Midwest. I found a large selection of Native American foods, authentic native jewelry, clothes, crystals, star quilt blankets. It is Native owned and run. The store is extremely a great place to visit in the Twin Cities. And the largest bead and accessory collection I have ever come across !!

My husband and I were in town the week of 6/23/21 and I stopped in this store during our trip. This store seems to have a nice selection of seed beads, but the big disappointment for me was that they are all behind a counter, and understandably customers cannot go behind the counter. However, I like to handle the bead tubes and compare colors and oftentimes I will have several colors at once for comparison. In this shop, since the beads are behind the counter, the customer would need to rely on staff. This would make for an uncomfortable and unpleasant shopping experience for me, as a lot of the joy of shopping is actually being able to handle the merchandise. I ended up leaving the store and not making a purchase.

I stopped by here to pick up some beading supplies. I am a beginner and the employees were so kind! There was a younger guy working and he was so awesome with explaining the differences between beads and showing me how they ended up looking in different pieces. I felt he really wanted to help me and was so kind and understanding with pulling different beads off the shelf for me to look at. He really went above and beyond. I'll definitely be back!!
