Nordic Brewpub

Road bicycle 35 miles from the suburbs and found this spot. Demolished the WTF Burger. Amazing! The wings were good even though the soy sauce (can't remember exactly what flavor) isn't my favorite flavor they were quite good. My friends other burgers and flatbread were good. I liked my mojito, the beer I got was ok just not my style. Service was awesome, our server was dealing with our humor and firing right back! The ambiance is great, I am a hunter and there are several unique mounts in the restaurant. Very cool! Would go back.

I've only been in a few times since Nordic went from a brewery to a brewpub. I asked a server about it one day and they said most customers don't realize they brew their own beer. Their cocktail list is impressive but don't skip on their beers either. Parking is easy in a big lot and the brewpub is comfortable seating where the staff is always friendly.

We stopped here while on our way back from the Twin Cities.Fish and chips were tasty -- fish was well cooked but not as good as we've had (breading was a bit heavy). Chips were like fat potato chips, or skinny potato wedges and were super good. My wife enjoyed the amber lager. Service was uneven. You seat yourself and order from a QR code. They add 4% to cover credit card fees, and say that's not more than their cost, but if so they need a new CC processor because that's crazy high! Then it asks for a tip, for service that hasn't happened yet. And it starts at 20% of course. You can leave the tab open or close it out. The beer came. We had to ask for waters. We waited. And waited. And waited. I checked my order time and it had been 25 minutes without a peep from the staff. Apparently someone had booked a big event in a different room and not scheduled enough staff (we were told 1 cook, 1 server and 1 bartender). Then they got responsive and checked on our food, let us know when it was being cooked, and offered to buy our dinner. But I had closed my tab. Apparently issuing a refund was not something they could do. We settled for a crowler of the beer and left much later than we expected. I appreciate that the server wanted to make it right. Ambiance was brewpub... in MN. Like a farmer / Viking vibe with random stuff on the walls.

We had a nice time at Nordic Brewpub. I am not a huge fan of ordering off of my phone as I always have questions (food allergy) but we managed to figure it all out. My hubby ordered the sausage plate (cant remember the exact name) it was very good. I ordered the fish and chips. Not great. The "chips" were good but the fish was more like frozen fish sticks you ate when you were a kid. Not good- dry and bready. The servers that brought our order out were fun and friendly. We went to the comedy show there after dinner and had some good laughs. I will go back. I won't order Fish and Chips.

Food. Poor creation for the cost. Heggies pizza would be superior over the flat breads. Chicken wings nothing special.10 oz beer in plastic glass ----- $8.Not coming back

Food is good but the reason for 5 stars is they have awesome bands . Unlike most bars where they have a banjo . They actually have real bands that play rock and alternative music without having to go downtown.

When you walk in it has a really cool decor very retro. The staff was very friendly. And the cocktails were delicious. A few people got plates of beer. However, there were some people in our group that did not enjoy the beer selection. The food options are very random. However, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. They do have pinball machines in the back so it would be kid friendly.

We loved this place the minute we walked through the door. Something about the way it was decorated gave it this unique vibe. The bar, wallpaper and things hanging on the wall were interesting. Our waitress came over immediately and got our beer order. My husband had a Mr Pandy which is a smoke pineapple lager with a nice Smokey flavor. I had a Mango Woman which was a currant & mango sour. It was just a perfect amount of sour. We love a brewery with food and the food did not disappoint. We started with the buffalo cauliflower which was not deep fried. The Buffalo sauce was a good amount of spice. We decided to share the pork belly sliders and wild mushroom flat bread. The pork belly sliders were so good with a sweet bread and salty pork belly. The slaw was flavorful. The crust on the mushroom flatbread was nice and crispy. One of the cheeses had a smoky flavor. We went here on a Sunday afternoon after a hike. It was fairly quiet and I heard someone complain that the pinball machines weren't turned on. We loved it. Our service, the beer and food were all wonderful. We'll definitely come back if we are in the area.

I would not recommend. Have to order off phone, no wait staff. Food was high priced and mediocre. Not a great experience. Ambiance was lacking, very cold and depressing.

Awesome place great service great food and great atmosphere! Their Monti's golden lite is amazing
