Nolabelle Kitchen + Bar

Cocktails are out of this world! Bartender was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious- we sampled: Brussels, beef eggrolls and the buffalo chicken tacos. So yummy!

Nolabelle recently introduced a new menu so we had to go try some of the new menu items. We were happy to find all of our favorites were still on the menu (short rib egg rolls, apple pecan salad, butter cake, burrata) but we tried several of the new items. We started with the Gochujang pork belly and the shrimp cakes. I especially enjoyed the pork belly, the slaw it came with was a perfect compliment to the spicy sauce. I was excited to see they brought back my favorite salad from a past menu with a new spin, the Brussels sprout and kale salad. It was as good as I remembered. We also tried the shortie French dip, it was delicious. Service, as always, was great. Continues to be our favorite place to eat in town!

Lovely place in the old town of Mankato. Glad to make the reservation as it seems to be a busy night here. First time being here and this place feels very young and modern. We are visiting Mankato for the first time and chose this restaurant due to its menu. There is a nice selection of burgers, sandwiches, and main courses. We ordered several main dishes and they were all quite delish. Out of all we ordered, I personally rank the following #1 Chicken Leg - I like the spiciness in the sauce. Wish it was a bit more kick for me since I like spices. It also came with broccolini which is my fav. #2 Porkchop - I was surprised that it comes with rice. The pork chop came a little dry for me but I still like it overall. I wish there was more sauce so the rice could be more flavorful.#3 Walleye - this one was okay, I think the flavor is more plain. The charcuterie board is very yummy. All items on the dish are well balanced. The truffle chips are amazing. Sizable portion tho.

Do we live in Mankato, no. But driving to brunch will always be a thing in this household. We drove out to Mankato to check out this brunch spot that has been getting rave reviews and I am so glad we stopped in. With an intimate setting with clean lines and an open kitchen plan, the food really just set the experience to a five out of five. I got their lemon, ricotta pancakes, and they were to die for. They were fluffy with a hint of acidity from the lemon and just melted in your mouth. Also got a side of their house sausage, which I totally recommend. You can definitely tell that they make those sausages to order. We also indulged in their mimosa flight, and it was really fun to try different combinations of the traditional mimosa in new and interesting ways.

If you're looking for a slightly upscale restaurant in Mankato, it's an excellent choice. I've eaten both lunch and dinner here and the food was excellent as were the cocktails. I absolutely loved the shishito pepper appetizer. The buttered walleye was good, though almost too rich. My biggest disappointment was there are few vegetarian and at the time no vegan options for main course

Found this place on our way to Minneopa state park in Mankato. Located probably about 10 mins from the park. It's next to a few other restaurant and stores (downtown Mankato area). Street parking but there is plenty especially on a Saturday. They do have patio available but we opted for high top. Brussels sprouts- sauté with bacon and it was actually very tasty. One of the recommended high seller appetizers and it was great. Burnt pork tip- not a dish I was interested in. If you like pork belly this may be the dish for you... maybe We got sandwiches I think peach + bacon and the cubano. Decided to get the fries and salad upgrade. Fries was crispy and good. Salad was so good! Loved it. I wouldn't mind getting a full salad order next time and maybe add chicken. Service was great and good came out pretty fast. We came during off lunch hour so it wasn't busy.

We love this place! Excellent ambiance in the downtown district. Great food options on the menu. The house-special Old Fashioned is a must-order. The best appetizer on the menu hands-down is the Burrata Caprese. The service is spot on and energetic. The ability to make reservations ahead of time allows for a spot guaranteed in a space that is sometimes hard to find a table on busy nights.

This is a solid place for Mankato, real food made with thought and soul.We were a party of 6 and on the whole enjoyed our food. Places like this are hard to find in Mankato so I applaud their efforts.One complaint was the kids burger was very small, my Son ate it in 3 bites, think small slider burger.

Date night at NolabelleOverall this was a fabulous evening outThis was nolabelle's soft opening, so we didnot expect perfection as this is their time tofigure things out and get the kinks worked out.For an appetizer Michael had the pretzelcovered goat cheese balls and I had theblueberry chicken tacos.These were both good. What would have madethem amazing was a little more seasoning. lfsalt and pepper would have been on the tableboth apps would have been dynamite,Next I had the arugula & apple salad andMichael had the tomato bisque with a grilledcheese dipperMy salad was really good. Sadly the grilledcheese was cold, the cheese was no longermelty and the soup was luke warm. It tastedgood but I am sure they would have been betterif they had been warm.Lastly for an entree Michael had the shrimpand grits and i had the pork schnitzel.The shrimp and grits were seasoned toperfection! The grits were the best I have everhad. The salad and the fries with cheese saucevith my entree we very good. Fries were crispyand the salad was bright and fresh. The porkcutlet was over cooked, so it was a little tough.Honestly, one of the best meals we have had inmankato and I hope this place makes it.The drinks were good and a decent price. Thewait staff was very friendly and very apologeticfor the slowness in the dining area.

I've gone to this restaurant 4 previous times. I have always loved the food & service. However, this time service was horrible. We had a 20 minute wait which was ok. We were seated in 24 minutes But had to remind the hostess we requested outside as she was going to seat us inside. We sat at our table another 15 minutes with no contact from anyone. Servers were walking by us for other tables. There were 4 tables empty outside. There were empty tables inside also so it didn't seem to busy. We finally stopped a server & asked if we could order. He said there must have been a miscommunication. He took our order. The menu had changed since my last time here. The hanger steak was the best. It was replaced with another similar steak (ribeye) but it was very gristly. It took 45 minutes for our food to come out. overall experience was not what I was expecting. it's no longer one of my favorite spots to eat in Mankato.
