The food was delicious. We had the scallops and they were amazing!!!!! We also had the steak in mashed potatoes and also very yummy and tasty. I tried a variety of drinks and we got our drinks very fast! We did go on Valentine's Day so we were expecting a wait since we went last minute but we were able to sit at the bar almost immediately. The vibe is also so cool. Very dim and lowkey vibes!

This was my boyfriend and I's third time visiting Nightingale. I really enjoy coming to this restaurant because it's open late and it's a nicer option than getting pizza or fast food. The outdoor seating is really cute and nicely secluded. The indoor seating is also nice! It is pretty dark and moody though. We've always had great service here and friendly waitresses! We stopped here around 10 pm, sat outside and were informed that on Mondays they have half priced bottles of wine! We ordered their moscato and it was very sweet but i enjoyed it a lot.I ordered their East coast oysters and their deviled eggs. Their oysters are okay. Nothing wrong with them, I have just had plumper, tastier, cheaper oysters elsewhere.Their deviled eggs however, were AMAZING. I loved the dill and the roe on top!! They were light and delicious. I could've eaten 10. My boyfriend got their burger and he was happy with it. Not his all time favorite but again, a good burger. The fries were delicious! I have also tried their mussels in the past and really enjoyed them. The only thing I could ask for was more vodka cocktails on their menu (they only have 1) but other than that, always a great experience here!

The dining area in nightingale is prime for a date night. Warmly lit and cozy vibes. The food was average-- we enjoyed the scallops the most. It had a unique blend of flavors and I didn't expect the grapes to go so well with it! The broccolini with burrata was ok, but probably wouldn't get it again. The service was nice but pretty slow. It took a long time to order and get drinks, appetizers, and entrees.

I went here with my sister. It was a last minute find. The drinks were amazing. Like legit AMAZING! The food is very different but I think most things are worth a try. The pickle plate was unique and tasty. I loved how knowledgeable our server was. She explained everything and gave great recommendations. The ambiance was EVERYTHING. It's just very loud in the small space. Music was chef's kiss. I'll be back

Warm and inviting, Nightingale immediately makes you feel like you want to stay a few hours. We visited on a busy Friday evening and did exactly that. Our waiter was excellent. Describing many of the dishes in detail and making well thought out recommendations based on our preferences. Per usual, we split everything - I will run the list. - Marinated Olives: Our thoughtful waiter brought these out for us to snack on. They tasted like they were covered in bacon grease - and I mean that in the best way imaginable. - Sesame Shrimp Toast: Fried triangles of goodness. A crispy outside, decorated with sesame seeds providing a pop of flavor, and a warm shrimp stuffed interior. Not to mention the drinkable sweet chile sauce! - Mushroom Bruschetta: Turns out there is a thing as too many mushrooms. We let this dish get cold which was also a mistake. The baby quail eggs were adorable, almost would have rather just ordered those! - Nightingale Burger: Classic burger with sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato and aioli. We asked for medium but felt it was more medium rare, still totally edible. Nothing to write home about. - Fries + Aioli: Very much a winner. Fries were hot, crispy and salty, and the dipping accompaniment was a malt vinegar aioli, so so tasty. Nightingale is a great neighborhood spot in the heart of the reviving Uptown area! Definitely check it out for great service and tasty bites!

Nightingale is a go to between my friends. When I moved to Minneapolis, I was told to come here for their espresso martinis, which are decent, but I've had better at a few other spots. I do really like their french fries and try to order some every time I come in. I was not the biggest fan of the scallops when I ordered them the first time, but their shrimp toast was delicious. Last time I was in, my girlfriend and I ordered both the west and east coast oysters (west coast was a winner) and I will be getting those again! The staff is always lovely and attentive when I visit.

My friends brought me here after dinner, so dinner round 2. She wanted me to try the food, she raves about how good it is. After reading the menu, it's actually mixed fusion. The restaurant was busy, however they were able to accommodate our party and server was attentive to our request. Restaurant lighting was kind of dim, also setting the mood like intimate setting. My friend loves the green olive, claims they were the best she's had.

5 stars all the way from California! Nightingale food and cocktails will always be one of my favorite places in Minnesota! I will forever be dreaming about the mushroom toast appetizer, OMFG so amazing!!! If you're looking for a fun, intimate, delicious restaurant then Nightingale is the place for you. Please review my food pics on the items you have to try. My absolute favorites is the mushroom toast and the green curry mussels! Holy shhhhhh, these dishes are bursting with flavor. Something about that green curry sauce, I feel like I can drink an entire bowl of that alone. On the night we visited, they had a live DJ playing vibey, throwback 90's R&B, I was all about it having a good ol' time! Can't say anything bad about this spot, all good good good things. Can't wait for my next visit back to the Midwest for that good good!

My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyerlemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.

Delicious drinks!!! I got the "The Adults are Talking" and "Saffron Sour" and wow. I absolutely loved them both. They were both well served and extremely tasty. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. The guy helping me was the one that recommended both drinks so I have him to thank! Hoping to come back soon!
